The ForScan solution, if it works, would be great. I don't want to mess with finding the correct resistance, buying, mounting, and possibly soldering in resistors if there is a simple software fix. Please keep us posted if there is (or is not) a ForScan solution. Also, those look great

That's what I did - replaced the white cargo bulbs with LEDs, and I like the brightness, but I may do the OP's mod anyway because i prefer the OP's lens without the red center part. Nice write up and photos.

My tint place said 18%, so he matched that on the front sides, and added a layer of 18% to the rear. Looks great. I doubt I could tell the difference between 18% and 23%. $50/window.

I find the backup camera image quality to be good-to-verygood. I also have replaced the backup lights with aftermarket LED lights, which I recommend.
