Heads up for any of you looking for an XL 2.0...
Got a call from Chapman (Scottsdale) today saying they have one available in Velocity blue with 4k tow package and a couple other add-ons. I think my dealer totally forgets what I reserved or that I even have a reservation, but nonetheless he did call me up to let me know this was in. I told him thanks but gonna hold out for the Hybrid FE I ordered.

Pretty sure this is the window sticker for what he was talking about.

Just a heads up tax rates vary widely depending on what dealer you are buying from in AZ. I found this on the bronco6g forums.

Earnhardt Ford (Chandler, AZ): 7.8%
Larry H Miller Ford (Mesa, AZ): 8.3%
San Tan Ford (Gilbert, AZ): 7.8%
Chapman Ford (Scottsdale): 8.05%
Bell Ford & Camelback Ford (Phoenix, AZ): 8.6%
Sanderson Ford (Glendale, AZ): 9.2%
Robert Horne Ford (Apache Junction, AZ): 9.6%
Peoria Ford (Peoria, AZ): 8.1%
Rodeo Ford (Goodyear, AZ): 8.8%

I think the Tucson dealerships are the highest as well btw.
In Texas sales tax is collected by rates for state and city and any other entity that has set their own tax rate where the vehicle is registered. Insurance rates are determined depending on where the vehicle is garaged (parked).

I also received a confirmation email within the first 24-48 hours. The manager that entered my order on 09-29 told me that they were pushed from Jan-Feb to Feb-Mar. Then again, I'm now expecting it to be delivered sometime in March to be honest.
@DesertMav and @Bill Cather

Did either of you ask for a signed purchase order from San Tan Ford? I've been thinking about calling them up and asking--I'd expect that pre-ordered vehicles would be sold at MSRP, but it would certainly be a blow to have it delivered and then find out the dealer wants to add a 10% markup.

No dealer markup?
Didn't inquire. Though it lists the price as "Chapman price" so I assume not.
Didn't see if this is on all window stickers, but under optional equipment REAR UNDERSEAT BINS-NO CHARGE is listed. Uh.... no kidding??

I received an unsigned copy of the order form, but they did have me sign their copy of the order form. I was assured by the manager the placed the order for me that they would honor the MSRP price, however, I am also considering going back and asking for a copy of the signed form.

I NEVER trust anything the dealer says and ALWAYS get things in writing.

Signed by the dealership too?
Sorry for the delayed reply…. Now that I think about it…. It was just me. BUT, I believe that if pushed came to shove it would show a binding agreement since they accepted it and said they would honor it.

I didn’t order mine, quick internet search, found mine at Earnhardt Ford. Bought it out of the showroom.
Ryan was my sales guys, a young kid, but respectful and enthusiastic.
Didn’t catch the sales managers name, the Maverick was parked directly in front of the sales managers desk. I got to talk to him for a few minutes while waiting for them to bring the other Maverick (identical drivetrain) to test drive. While talking to him, i told him outright that before we even talking number, I will not be paying some bs dealer addendum. I own a paid off 2021 Nissan Titan 4x4 (“wife’s truck “) and the car I drove up there to trade in, a paid off 2018 VW Golf, so I didn’t NEED to buy this Maverick, but WANTED to if the deal was right. He said he wouldn’t pay games (I’ve heard that before).
I drive the other Maverick, really liked it and decided to move forward buying the Area 51 , FX4, 4k toe package equipped one that was inside the showroom. The very first numbers they came forward with, was MSRP, plus about $2k for the dealer adds (window tint, paint protection etc), but NO addendum. Plus they offered a hair under KBB for my golf, even with the “dirty “ Carfax. (Comprehensive claim from landscape rock damage, long story). Needless to say I accepted and signed the paperwork. I got great financing through Ford motor credit and bought a Ford extended warranty.
This is only the second dealership in my life that I didn’t have to cuss the sales personnel out. It was smooth as glass. The only other dealership I had a great experience like this was Lunde’s Volkswagen, where I bought that Golf I just traded in.

I might need to go to Earnhardt. I feel like I'm really getting jerked around at Chapman and am growing rather tired of it. If it wasn't for hybrid orders being closed, I'd probably go get my $500 refunded then start over at a different dealer.

Earnhardt has a horrible reputation for adding a huge dealer market to their cars.

Literally just got the "chip shortage" line again despite having thoroughly shown I already know what is going on. Good Lord, why am I being punished?!

I envy you sir! Though I know people have had worse experiences, I'm thoroughly disappointed with mine. I told dealer right from the get go (back in July) that I didn't expect to see my truck arrive until at least the spring. "Oh it'll probably be in around December" was the reply. Knowing better, I said "no. It won't". Then I also informed him about the trims, features, and available options. Should have been a clue that I wasn't just a random schmuck and actually did some research. Yet here I am, simply asking for my order information so I can track it myself, and getting the run around. To say I'm irritated would be an extreme understatement.
