Brakes, combined with the trailers brakes, were more then adequate.
  2. Nearly Max Towing Weight Results on Maverick With 4K Tow Package

Never felt underpowered at all. I could floor it at any point and it would accelerate fairly well. Had to at a couple points to get around a few semi’s. The trans was shifting up and down when I tried to keep the speed lower at like 72-74, that’s why I hels 78-80, it seemed to like it better. If...
  3. Nearly Max Towing Weight Results on Maverick With 4K Tow Package

No No sway at all. No didn’t had sway control hitch. On the way home there was some serious winds from the rear with slightly cross. It was moving the whole setup, but not causing sway between the trailer and truck.
  4. Nearly Max Towing Weight Results on Maverick With 4K Tow Package

91 octane. The motor ran at the same coolant temps as without the load. At no point did I feel it was at all underpowered. I also forgot to mention I was running the A/C at a couple points.
  5. Nearly Max Towing Weight Results on Maverick With 4K Tow Package

With this trailer and this RZR on it, it wasn’t bad. If it was a enclosed camper or enclosed trailer, it could use to have mirror extensions
  6. Nearly Max Towing Weight Results on Maverick With 4K Tow Package

My heavy foot was definitely to blame no questions about it. For about a 20mins section I slowed to about 70mph and the dash mpgs went up to like 11mpg. The trailer has brakes on both axles and I tend to run the trailer brakes a little biased, it helps you have to really get on the brakes to...
  7. Nearly Max Towing Weight Results on Maverick With 4K Tow Package

Well boys, I did a thing. Just a statement of fact, I also own a 2021 Nissan Titan 4x4. I decided, after towing my Drift Willy’s Jeep from my house 2.5 hours to the track in Tucson, Az, with the Titan getting about 8 mpg, to go drifting for the day with my buddy, I didn’t want to then turn...
  8. Has Anyone Installed 7 pin wiring harness and Aftermarket Brake Controller ?

I’m always late to the party 😂😂😂. And you’re definitely not wrong about the aftermarket units being simple to install. They definitely are easy nowadays with the OEMS pre wiring to under the dash, they have those plug and play harnesses.
  9. Has Anyone Installed 7 pin wiring harness and Aftermarket Brake Controller ?

I would definitely beg to differ. I’d be willing to go out on a limb here and say that the Ford engineers know a little more about it then you and I. I think they realized that these little Car-Trucks are just glorified cars, and they know what really needed to be “beefed up” in order to tow...
  10. Has Anyone Installed 7 pin wiring harness and Aftermarket Brake Controller ?

“I ordered the Lariat AWD with 2" receiver and 4 pin as 90% of my towing is under 2k. Occasionally I need to tow more with a trailer that has electric brakes. I plan on using an F150 for most of this but would like the Mav equipped if necessary.” I truly hope that other 10% of the time over 2k...
  11. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

With it like this, with the “loose” ring gap I run, under a heavy full load, I can actually watch the vapor pour out of it. I do t have a hood on it in case anyone was wandering how I could watch the cam.lol. But the last time I swapped intake manifolds after like 3 years of straight up abuse...
  12. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

This is how the catch can is in my Drift Willy’s is. Has a -10 fitting coming out of each valve cover I welded on, then each line runs to the catch can, which has a big 1.5” barb that a stainless steel filter is clamped onto. The inside of the valve covers where the fittings are welded on, have...
  13. Buschur's 3" cat back exhaust prototype for 2.0 Maverick all done!

  14. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

  15. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

@Buschur Im sorry to ask this if its already been asked, but do you guys have plans to make an catch can for the crankcase side also? I really like the one you have made for the valve cover side, but i really don't want to have a mis-match of parts. From years of personal experience, i am very...
  16. Maverick EIBACH lowering, coming soon

Yeah i also talked to them, and they basically stated that, the lowering springs for the FWD are already in the works, but have no interest in making any for the AWD model at this time.
  17. lifting springs

I asked them specifically about that exact thing, and they explained that their first goal is to get the Maverick springs to market for the "mass" market first. Which will not be for 4K tow specific. They did say they will address that following the release of the first springs. I think i am...
