Thanks for doing this! I find it really interesting because as someone who ordered in July, XLT with LUX (SIBL changed to DIBL) and still with no build date, this type of information gives me an idea of how things are progressing. It's too bad Ford wouldn't release this type of information so everyone could see how progress is going or not going. MTC is a large forum, but your information of course is only as good as what people are posting. It would be interesting to know how many, if any, of those XLT LUX packages are SIBL or DIBL since there's the option to now change that package. I still have to wonder why Aug orders are getting build dates when there are still June and July orders waiting for dates. This boggles my mind, but I'm sure it comes down to allocations that dealerships receive. It is nice to see that June and July are getting the lion's share of build dates.
It's a small sample for sure but the hybrid trends seem to be quite clear. In December and January they did not schedule the later orders from September forward. They are moving to more August orders. Allocations, geography (shipping logistics), constrained items, etc. all could be factors in June and July orders not yet scheduled.

The sample size may be too small for the Ecoboost orders. It is evident, though that some of those are getting scheduled very quickly while others are not.

Thanks for pulling this information! Definitely interested in how much they're building each month and of what kinds! Glad there's a decent sample.

Ordered my hybrid, XL, copilot in July. Build date was January 24th, pushed back to feb 7 and just pushed again to feb 14.

Yes, the trend has finally swung towards Hybrids at last and hopefully will continue to increase with each scheduling date. To bad there's no way of knowing how many June and July orders are still waiting on build date. I think I read where there was still some early Ecoboost orders still waiting for a build date. I agree that constrained items are probably the big reason that many of the June and July orders are still not schedule, but I also think that allocations play a major part. I find it hard to understand why I see someone with an August order get a build date before my July order. When the order is exactly the same in everyway as mine! This allocation system really makes it unfair for anyone who doesn't order from a mega dealership. Eventually, they will make my Maverick, I'm just sad that it has taken this long. I certainly understand constraint item, shipping delays, personnel issues, but when someone who ordered after me the same exact truck and gets their build date, it makes it harder to understand what is holding my order back.

From the 1/13 and 1/20 scheduling email threads, here are totals by order date. I'll edit and add what gets scheduled this week, but given it's "cleanup" it's probably not going to be very many. Just like last month (except for one September outlier), the hybrid orders scheduled were all from June, July and August. However, orders from August were the greatest number scheduled whereas last month July orders were the highest number. Also, there was a shift to orders from later in August getting scheduled. Last month, no hybrids ordered after 8/12 were scheduled. This month, 14 of the 25 August hybrid orders were made after 8/15.

Ecoboost orders scheduled were nearly all August or later orders, and over 1/3 of them were made in December and January.

Here's how the scheduled builds shake out by trim level:

Lariat
Lariat Lux
XLT
XLT Lux
XL
3
40
19
26
11

With all the talk of spray-in bedliners holding things up, it's interesting that the majority of trucks scheduled were Lariat Lux and XLT Lux packages.
I was told by my salesman that part of the problem is that Ford was projecting the hybrid would constitute about 40% of orders and the others 60%. It ended up being the opposite.

Ford screwed that projection all to hell

We probably can't infer from these numbers that Ford is scheduling more hybrids than Ecos. We might have a greater ratio of hybrid to Eco here than the general population.

One thing I've noticed is people with July orders don't like seeing August orders scheduled, but people with June orders don't seem to complain when July orders get scheduled. ;)

I have a Hybrid, Lariat Lux which includes the Spray in bed liner, moonroof and sliding back window and more... I ordered 7/13/21 & I have not heard a word on that build... and calls to Ford have only "netted" that it is still active... nothing more.

Surprising that there is only 11 XLs or 11% scheduled out of 99. Did the overall mix change from last month?
Sorry, I only tracked scheduling by order date last month. Trim level was an addition this month.
