The taillight was done at the same time. If I had been aware this might happen, I would not have it taken back to the dealer for the oil change. I was trying to use up those points I got for the purchase of the Maverick, especially after they docked me 50 points for inactivity… Live and learn
Maybe so, hopefully time will prove me wrong. I just wanted all who haven’t done this “update” to be aware. I took it to dealer for an oil change to use up my points and “oh by the way, we…”
mine was 356 after flash. 435 yesterday with 17 miles to empty and put in 13.28 gallon or roughly 32.9 mpg; I was seeing 35+ highway… next 3 weeks is city only so I’ll compare. 45-47mpg was my average w/o AC
Apparently Ford requires the verification… FYI, you do not want to see this procedure… Between the airbags, battery cable and the 1st under hood fire, the tech pretty much disassembled the interior of my truck (all completed together) and yes, there is a second under hood fire recall coming...
Anyone else having problems getting the airbags? First visit only to find I had to schedule a second visit to verify need. Third visit to physically inspect airbags to verify Need. Fourth visit found my airbags had been given away Before my appointment.
You can have my Maverick when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers… I cussed and fussed while waiting, but I enjoy this truck more than any vehicle I have ever own, including my 68’ Cougar…
I Got a decent size “rock crack” dead center of my right eye. Insurance will replace it since it is in my field of vision. Anyone else had a windshield replaced? Any advice I should heed? Insurance suggest Safelite, but state law allows me to use any glass company…
Thanks, Db
