Next on NPR, meet auto plant workers laid off due to the recent tariffs (I just heard about these, btw) who are riding the rails to do quality control fixes on Ford vehicles en route to their customers. For anyone that knows:
When they do the hold for extra quality control (ok, stop laughing), where is that actually done?
Or is it still done, or just on new jobs? At the factory hold & testing - seems like the best place.
Transported from railyard to Ford facility, but only in cities that happen to have one?
Certainly a Ford plant here in Kansas City to take it to.
