  1. Owning my Maverick embarrassed me in front of family

Everyone who has asked what's the best thing about the Mav, I have said the transmission is so smooth you don't even notice it \
  2. Highest price for a lariat maverick EVER

I paid $63K for mine, however that is Canadian dollars, not US. Not seeing that this is being sold at that price for US$. I have the Lariat with pretty much every option, sunroof, 4K tow, BAP, etc.
  3. BUYING MY 1st MAVERICK | Advice Welcome!

Not really true in Canada, but hopefully it will get there.

  5. Tail Gate Enhancement "Old Man Edition"

sure beats a Shit Box edition
  6. Fuel Consumption shocking

My hybrid is way better in the city rather than highway. Highway is all engine with battery doing very little, while in the city I often get 50% of my milage on the battery.
  7. New Rims for Summer Tires?

Thinking ahead to winter as I plan to get winter tires for my 25 Mav. The plan right now will be to put the winter on the current rims (I have BAP). Looking for some thoughts as to replacement rims for summer tires. I am not a fan of pulling tires on and off rims to change them. In Nova...
  8. 100k maintenance report

I have had no issues with any Ford I've owned which has been all F150's before the Mav. I remember trading one in and they looked at the 900K+ km (550K Miles)on the odometer and said this truck is worth nothing. I said it should be worth $600 for marketing. He laughed and said OK. Bought...
  9. 2025 HYBRID AWD MPG?

For what it's worth, I have had my AWD hybrid for 2.5 months now. City driving with some highway I was getting close to 41 MPG. When I took it for a 5 hr all highway drive, that trip averaged 32 MPG.
  10. OEM tires didn't last

My Mazda CX 5 was like that. Only 1000 miles on the Maverick right now so hoping for much better. My Mazda went from Dec to Oct and about 10K and they were done.
  11. DOES MY MAVERICK SNITCH ON ME?

My odometer tells my wife when I have gone on an extended crank up the tunes drive. Not sure if that counts. Actually the dial set at 20 also gives that away. Now back to Motley Cue and Girls Girls Girls.
  12. Would You Buy Your Maverick Again?

Just flipped over the 1K miles this morning. Getting around 40 mpg and love the way it drives. Yes the interior plastic is getting marked very easy, but in looking at other vehicles I think it would happen anyways. I have the Lariat Hybrid with all the bells and whistles.
  13. Prices going up again

I expected this and it sped up my decision to buy a month ago. If the government in the USA doesn't come to its senses, then that increase will seem cheap a year from now.

I appreciate finally knowing what that was. Living on the ocean, I have access to lots of Jellyfish,
  15. Realistic Best Negotiated Price For A New 2024 XLT Hybrid

My price was $500 below MSRP. Mavericks are really popular (in Canada anyways) that there really isn't any negotiating power.
  16. About to cancel order!

It is experiences like this that I will only buy a new car if it's on the lot. I bought my Maverick 2 days after it arrived at the dealer but several dealers knew I wanted on and which options were mandatory.
  17. Front factory mats

Glad I didn't pay for the Ford ones. Very happy with the Tuxmat I bought for the hybrid.
  18. 2025 XL My View Configuration

I haven't experienced it in my 2025 Lariat.
  19. Very expensive to insure the Maverick

Forgot to mention that also has my 19 year old granddaughter on it. She's $155 a month of that.
  20. Very expensive to insure the Maverick

My 2025 Hybrid Lariat Maverick plus my 2016 Mazda CX 5 combined come to $271 per month. Those numbers seem high given the insurance on the Maverick is less than the CX 5. I am in Canada and those numbers are CND $
