Whatever the screwup has been, I see no reason for folks here to throw darts at the OP. Having ordered our Maverick the first weekend of the first year that was even possible, I sure do understand the frustration of waiting. See my "fine print" below.

But what helped us the most was a phone call to Ford Customer Service. Maybe give that a try.
1 (800) 392-3673. Remember that it's not the fault of the customer service rep and be very nice to them. I did that and suddenly my order went from a 2 status to a 10...!

They may at least be able to unscramble whether you were given an incorrect VIN #.
Have contacted them since February and they have the same information as does my dealership. They said they are going by the GPS tag that's on the vehicle.

I paid a deposit and the dealership paid in full to make sure they got it.

Have you gotten the correct VIN yet?

Please make sure you read the page 4 of post for info that should settle your issue.

sounds like Ford transferred the truck to USPS for final delivery. USPS is very good at sending items around and around!o_O

I am sooooo frustrated! This is my first experience with Ford and I'm about to cry!! My build for a 2025 Lariat was placed in October, built in February and shipped the same month. It was to be delivered within two weeks and was in the ground in the Kansas city railyard. Okay, so we are in the process of buying a retirement home here in Missouri but still live in Mississippi, so a 500 mile trek and vacation time to come get it. Get to here and said it will be another two weeks. Bummer. Have done this 5 times now and each time a new destination time. Find out it's been getting back on the train several times and shipped to various locations... furthest away has been nebraska. Now we are in Missouri again based on Ford Marketing and dealership that it will be here this week. Then, i get on the phone and they say it is back on the rail again and in Kansas somewhere and not to expect it until the first week of May!!! I am soooo sad that nobody can help me get my truck!! My 1st experience with buying a brand new vehicle. I ran a vin check on the internet and find it has been listed for sale in 7 different dealerships!!! Sorry for venting my frustration, but I have purchased so many cool accessories and have even given her a name. It's like waiting for a child i am adopting only to find out the child keeps going to other homes. I am wits end!!
Um, yeah that's on you. I forgot about it and got a surprise call 443 days after placing the order. I don't know why someone would buy accessories for a car they don't yet own. Wake me up with it's at the dealership, otherwise I've got better things to do.

I relate. I just got mine. Here's my advice . . . take a deep breath and try to stop thinking about it. It will turn up . . . and you will be very happy.

I bought all kinds of stuff for mine before it came in . . . couldn't help it . . . .

That is a horrific experience and first I've heard where there's all this bouncing around. It certainly does not seem normal. If you still want it, I'd first confirm it is there and tell them to take a picture of it or do a video call so you have a higher level of confidence. Alternatively, you should be checking around with other dealers since there is 2025s in dealer stock.

That's what I've decided to do. I've been told it has been to lots of dealerships around the country, so it's going to have quite a history before I get it.

I love that color and love red trucks. that is what I went to look at in an xtl trim. Then I saw the Atlas Blue and for sentimental reasons I prefer to keep to myself I had to have the blue. Plus i loved the "blue jeans and cowboy boots" interior on Bluey. Is your interior the black?
Blue and brown... I'm hoping the blue will go nice with the azure blue exterior.

Did they sell your original order to someone else and are now trying to find a replacement at another dealer? Or was it damaged/delayed?

The vin you provided was only built in April. I'm trying to figure out what happened to the one you said was built in February! Did you have a different VIN from those early communications?

Crystal, why don't you list what your build is. There are a lot of creative people on this forum willing to search what you want. Obviously, it's not the one that was ordered by and delivered to the dealer in Iowa.

Update... found my truck!!! It is fire sale at a dealership in Iowa!!!! Now wondering what to do!
Did you call FORD Customer Care? Not the dealer.
