I had some deep sleep/battery/inverter issues that were corrected (I guess) last October. Maverick was running fine since then until the weather warmed up, then I got 3 deep sleep warnings and had to jump start once. Since then the weather has cooled again and I haven't gotten a deep sleep...
I had a couple batteries replaced, then the fuse, then the cable, then the dc/dc converter. Still had problems. Ford engineer came to the dealer. Troubleshot. Apparantly a fuse wasn't seated properly. If this was the fix Ford should be sending out memos to all dealerships.
I had a similar problem. They replaced the battery a couple times, the 3A fuse, the cable, dc/dc converter (this per Ford FSE). None fixed it. The Ford engineer came down again and diagnosed a loose fuse box or fuse or something like that. Reseated properly and it corrected the issue...
Mine has been at the dealer for 5 months now trying to fix this issue. Only got to drive it two months. They have replaced everything -- fuse, cable, battery (twice), and now the dc/dc converter. Ford engineer is coming in Wednesday. You aren't the only one with this problem. Ford may offer...
Well, I ordered my hybrid Oct 2022, received it May 2023, drove it two months, and its been in the shop the last five months because no one knows what is wrong or how to fix it. Issue with deep sleep mode and the 12V battery charging. Warnings about the PCM not having correct voltage. They have...
The biggest issue is not the failed part, it is the 3 month wait to get the replacement part and the lack of knowledge by the dealership on how to repair a Maverick. I'm not even sure this will fix it. Don't believe any troubleshooting was done, they just took the advice of the Ford engineer...
I have no idea. Ford customer service is involved and said they have elevated this and are tracking the part giving me weekly updates saying that they don't know when the part is coming in, either.
I got my Maverick in early May 2023. Drove it two months before started having deep sleep issues. After replacing the battery, fuse, and cable turns out the messages saying the powertrain control system has detected a fault were correct. After consulting with Ford, the dealer says the dc/dc...
I've been waiting on a DC/DC converter for 3+ months now. Ford can't tell me when it will be in. Been in the shop for almost 4 months now. Ford has a problem with replacement parts. They could just pull one from the production line. Ordered my truck in Oct 2021. Got it in May 2023. Drove...
I am. But don't feel comfortable driving them, you know. I'm putting mileage on new cars. I just want my truck back. Need it for truck things. Want to go camping, haul some dirt for my garden...add some stuff to the bed.
Mine went bad early July. Dealer tried replacing the battery, then fuse, then cable. Finally Ford engineers told him to replace the DC/DC converter. Still waiting, with no estimate on part delivery. But it is escalated and I get weekly updates. smh :) Only got to drive my Maverick for 2...
Well, mine has been at the dealer for a couple of months now. First tried replacing the battery, then the fuse, then the cable. Nothing worked. Now they are waiting on a dc/dc converter and can't tell me when it will be in.
I got screwed that way, too. Plus he wouldn't honor X-plan. He gets that $500 from Ford in 45 days. So I wrote a bad review, detailing this. And I won't go there for service, or to buy accesories, or refer anyone to him. Gonna cost him a lot more than $500.
Made it. Filled back up with 13.65 gallons. So over 52mpg perhaps. Pretty sure would have gotten to 800 easily, maybe 850 but don't want to drain my tank.
I'm not going to care as much on my second tank. LOL. I've been gentle, trying to coax every extra mile out. This tank has mostly been to and from work (on back roads) and around town, on back roads and city streets. The times I've been on the highway, it has been pretty congested. Tomorrow...
I made it. First tank of gas. 15.7 miles on the truck when I picked it up. I drove the last 600. Not sure if the 49.9mpg is for the 615.7 miles or 600 miles. Gonna make it to 700 miles before I'm at 0 mi to E. Should over 50mpg with the next drive to and from work.
