2025 Maverick Owners - Windshield Tapping/Rattle?

How about the other side? I think there are two. That's frustrating...

I had the A pillar off on the driver side, but there's no noise coming from there. I know as soon as it gets warm out, it will go away. We had a patch of 50-60F weather after Christmas and it was fine.

Given how little it takes to get the noise going when it's very cold, it seems like it's occurring in a place with already a tight tolerance.

I took delivery of my “23” in April of 2023.

Don't believe this was even a problem with the '24 model year. Am I wrong? Edit: The OP said he has had a problem, but I have not heard much else about the '24's. @SlightTremor was yours an early build '24?

Did op state that they had the problem? I didn't read it that way.

I found that it is the defroster vent on mine making the noise. Like plastic against plastic. If I reach up and pull back on the vent it quits.

I have not heard this noise on my 22 Lariat. We get below zero weather in my neck of the woods. Thanks for the video...I hope you get it resolved.

Well I knew I shouldn’t have said anything. Had a rattle tonight towards the bottom of the drivers side. It started about 5 mins into my trip to the store a few miles away and lasted about 2-3 mins then went away. Didn’t have anything on the way home. I’ll keep an ear out for it again now but really hoping it was a fluke.

Ive noticed a rattle in my '25 lariat hybrid. If you hear anything else about this plz lmk. Mine comes from passenger window sometimes from the rear as well.

I had a 2023 Lariat Hybrid and around 6,000 miles I started hearing a tapping sound on the drivers side defroster vent. Now I have a 2025 Lariat Hybrid and I’m beginning to hear the same noise with only 3,000 miles. Disappointed to have it again.
I will say this. The 2023 was a nice truck but the 2025 is better. I traded because they came out with the AWD in the hybrid.

I know, I know.... another thread about rattles.

For the 2025 owners, have you noticed the dreaded passenger side windshield rattle/tapping noise (typically from the alignment pins)?

Asking this specifically since its winter/colder out when most folks are receiving their 2025s (at least in certain areas of the US).

**Note - I don't have a '25. I have a '24 that has the windshield ticking/rattle and was curious if anybody noticed it in their new '25s. Although I hope that's not the case!

My 2025 has it only in the colder weather 40 degrees and below. It was 60 degrees on Sunday and no noises at all.

My 2025 is the same and no noise from drivers side sounds like passenger side.

I'm pretty sure it is something related to the windshield alignment/sealing. Some people have mentioned that it has gone away if the windshield was replaced or resealed. I sold the Maverick about a year ago for the Ranger Raptor. I'm glad I don't have to go a second winter with that clicking noise lol.

Now Yesterday i have a rattle in what sounds like the passenger door!! Not very happy with the clicking sound and now the rattle!! Hopefully when I take it in on Tuesday for the Works and Recall they can find the Rattle and clicking noises!! Sunday no rattle in the door!!
