I had a 2023 Lariat Hybrid and around 6,000 miles I started hearing a tapping sound on the drivers side defroster vent. Now I have a 2025 Lariat Hybrid and Iām beginning to hear the same noise with only 3,000 miles. Disappointed to have it again.
I will say this. The 2023 was a nice truck but...
The pins are in the 2 hinges. Canāt fold forward or backward with the pins in. When I take the pins out the middle pulls towards the tailgate to fold it.
I did something similar but hinged it in the middle so I can just remove a pin, fold it, and lay it in the back without taking up so much room. It also makes it possible to remove it without having to fold back my trifold cover.
I debated about ordering the Eruption Green but I went with the Space White for a couple reasons. My opinion it stays cleaner looking longer than a darker color and I think the green is going to be a very popular color. I wanted something different from what everybody and their brother might...
Didnāt want to hear that.
I had a 2023 that I bought them for but they didnāt work with the mud flaps I had already installed. Tried selling them and that didnāt work so they have been setting in the garage for 2 years. Traded for an AWD 2025 last month and thought Iād put them on that.
I guess...
Mine had 11 miles on it and that included the couple miles I drove it and also the couple miles the salesman put on it once the deal was made to get it washed and filled up with gas.
I never did get the noise in the dash fixed but is now the problem with whoever buys my 2023 Maverick Hybrid Lariat. Loved the truck but I couldnāt resist ordering the 2025 with AWD.
Took delivery 2 weeks ago and so far very happy with the improvements they made in the 2025.
After a couple conversations with the dealership where I ordered my 2025 Maverick Hybrid Lariat it was unclear the easiest way to handle the unavailable Pro Trailer Assist option. They very graciously offered me the Cerakote Protection Coating at a $300 discount. I accepted the offer.
Iām not seeing anything in the paperwork showing that Iām getting a rebate or discounted price after paying for a standard feature that I didnāt get on the Build 1 Lariat.
Isnāt the base price on the 2025 Maverick Hybrid the same for Build 1 as it is for Build 2?
My understanding at the time of...
What is Ford Motor Co. and dealerships doing with pricing relating to the Lariat standard feature of Pro Trailer Assist not being available on Job 1 builds? Is there a $300 refund for Job 1 builds or do you just pay the same price as Job 2 but lose that feature.
Iām thinking it might be disabled in the āDriver Assistanceā menu. When I got my 2023 the dealership went through all that with me. We didnāt have time to do any of that when I picked up the 2025 last night.
