I don’t think you will see any changes until the shortages and delivery are solved. I think the Mach e will be updated first and then the Maverick.
2024 should be the last year of supply issues on the Mavericks. The order banks are still open a month later. The MCE refresh is scheduled for Mid 2024 for MY 2025.

What is the right rear passenger window bug?
Several posts on here have suffered the RR window having been put down and not being able to be put back up. Seems like the master switch has failed in most cases IIRC. Multiple threads and posts about it on this forum. Simple search: "passenger window failure".

Thanks. This is the first I've heard of the issue.

Definitely a competitor to the Ram 700 / Fiat Toro
There are a few technical reasons why this is unlikely, but I'd never say impossible.

The Maverick is a transverse engine layout. The 2.7 is available transverse in the Edge but only with the older 7 speed auto. It hasn't yet been paired with the 8 speed used in the Maverick ecoboost.

The 2.7 is also about 200 pounds heavier, it does have a second turbo and more piping of course.

The 10 speed is a longitudinal transmission for rwd and 4wd vehicles with a transfer case. It's not coming to the Maverick.

Meanwhile the 2.3 and 8 speed has already been in transverse fwd/AWD applications including the Corsair. But the Corsair switched to a higher output 2.0, so I think that's possible as well. That a Maverick ST just has a higher output 2.0. Hope not.
So perhaps they could give us the setup from the edge? I'm not against the 2.3, it's better than nothing. But I would be kinda disappointed if Ford made a performance maverick, and it "only" had like an additional 30-50 hp. That would definitely be noticable behind the wheel, no doubt, but I just want... more. Ford's at their best when they just go for it, the new mustang GTD, the raptors and broncos, the gt500 and gt350, the gt/gt40, the rs200, I love when Ford goes crazy.

I'm not saying I want some 60 grand maverick, rather, if the 2.7 7 speed can be offered in the edge st, which I believe was priced in the 40s, maybe they could offer it as like a 40k maverick.

For the most part I have. I posted a "Mavs Owner Timeline" that describes the life cycle of a typical MTC member a while back. I have had my truck 15 months. Beyond giggles, the longer you own your Mav, the less valuable this forum becomes and the more annoying the whiny babies become.

Nonetheless, as I have told newcomers. There is not a better single source of information on the Mav than MTC and I really appreciate all I have learned and gained from here.
So you are not in any support groups😂😂😂

AWD on a hybrid, when they've already jacked the price up by $1500 for the hybrid option wouldn't make any financial sense. AWD would add another couple thousand to the price, and AWD would decrease the MPG by a fair amount. So you end up paying another $3500 and get less MPG probably in the 35mpg range. With those drawbacks just buy an ecoboost, it already gets reasonable MPG and is priced lower than the hybrid.
Well maybe that's not for you, but I and MANY OTHERS want the AWD Hybrid. Your assumptions are just that, yours.

sure, I have one - got the 1st year model. Just curious as to what the benefit would be with a hybrid in that the economics of it don't work out like they used to, that's all.

All these are nice but at what price point? Maverick platinum edition? Can the Escape 13.2 sync 4 be installed in a 22-23 Maverick?

not easily, and you will never be able to update it. there is a big thread about it somewhere here.

you can't update it because the ACIM is authorized to the VIN and in Ford's system, Mavericks do not have Sync4.

Ford did do a tech package upgrade when some vehicles with Fordpass were caught in the 3G cellular retirement but I don't think this included Sync, it was just the cellular modem.

If you want it could be a platinum edition or just a listing of additional items.

Seriously? :
360 camera
Wireless Sync
AWD Hybrid
60/40 split rear seats
Move or angle the indicator lights for the seat heaters so they do not reflect from the rear window into the rearview mirror
Larger infotainment display
Front towhook option on Hybrid models

With the possible exception of the AWD Hybrid, I feel like ALL of the above SHOULD be done (at least as options). I honestly do not see any reason not to do all of these other than to try to push customers 'up' the truck line. Bring the features down the line instead! If the above was done, 100% I would replace my current Maverick with a brand new order.

I definitely hear the 'basic cheap truck' argument and completely agree with that, Ford should do this and rule this segment. But for myself, I want ALL the whizbang features and I am willing to pay for them. However, I do not want to drive a 700 ton military vehicle just to get access to all such features that are only available on the biggest trucks. I *adore* my Maverick and it is a few steps away from being perfect for me. I keep eyeing the Ranger refresh just to get access to some of the tech upgrades, but I don't really want (or need) a bigger vehicle.

Wishlist that I don't think will happen but a guy can dream? :
Plug-in Hybrid
Heads-up windshield display
Cooled/ventilated seats
Upgraded interior materials / scratch resistance
Better/thicker exterior paint? (I have read this is an issue? I haven't had an issue)
Full slide-down rear window
Slightly taller and/or lifted (sit just a bit higher)
Move the shifter a bit so people don't accidentally leg-bump it (I've never had an issue but some of y'alls stories make me worry)
Stop sending me messages to sign up for Sirius XM
re-designed layout for the heating/cooling control buttons (seriously I feel like I just keep hitting buttons until it does what I want, IDK maybe that's a 'me' problem!)
Tesla Plaid acceleration ;P

I'm just wondering if this will definitely be the year that the Maverick undergoes a mid-cycle refresh and will possibly offer more features/a mild facelift. I figured since this will be the Maverick's fourth model year (which is hard to believe already) it's gotta be time for some slight changes. It would be nice if ventilated seats were offered at least on the Lariat trim and some upgraded exterior cosmetics such as full LED taillights/reverse lights, LED front turn signals, or add fog lights. What would you like to have offered on the '25 Maverick?
Thicker paint with flex agent added for less chipping and a tougher windshield that is less prone to chipping and/or cracking.
