Very easy. I take mine off weekly. It takes about 5 minutes to put on or take off. Water gets in where the topper meets the cabin. There's a bulb seal that can be installed to reduce water getting in. No reduction in my mileage. I'd argue the best looking shell is the cab high version.

Please elaborate on "...the analog speedometer is quite useless." My analog speedometer works fine. It does what it's tasked to do. It's pretty accurate in letting me know the speed my Maverick is traveling at.
