10-4. Yeah I'm not overly concerned yet. Once I get a few more tanks through and weather cools down, hopefully will get betterCan’t really judge by that few a miles. Just a few minutes of idling can drop the mpg a mile or so on a fresh reset of odometer and mpg. And just squeezing in and extra couple of tenths will make 2mpg on hand calculations.
Nah, I use a fuel app that asks for odometer and gallons put in at the pump. That's my trip and I haven't reset it since I got the truck. First tank was something like 275 miles this one has 94 miles on it and it's estimating 133 to empty for a total of 227 miles for this second tank of fuel. The calculation on the truck isn't perfect but it's close to the abysmal number I am actually getting from odometer mile difference to gallons pumped.I think your estimate is off. By looking at your pictures you’ve got 349.4 miles on that tank and 133 miles to empty. Even if you used a full tank of gas(16.6 gal) that comes out to about 21mpg but you have 133 miles to empty so obviously you haven’t used the full 16.6 gallons. So mpg is better than 21. That first dealer tank and that’s assuming the dealer filled it up. If they stopped even a gallon short, then you used only 12.95 gals so 272 miles/12.95gal = 21 Not good but it’s not broke in yet. I’d drive it a few thousand miles filling up at same pump the same way as much as possible and keep up with fuel used then figure mpg over the entire 2000-3000 miles. My 22 AWD has averaged 33.8 over last 8,000 miles, that’s computer calculated so I figure it’s more like 32mpg as I’ve hand calculated some tanks and it’s usually within 1-2 mpg sometimes better sometimes worse than the computer data.
Wooow. I used it many years ago and I was not aware it had so many great improvements. Going to look at itI can't recommend fuelly enough for mpg tracking! Once you set it up you can also text in your fill ups. After 2 tanks it will text you back that trips details you can also include additional info if you want to track trip notes. They even make it easy to remember. All you do is text your M, P and G... Miles, price and gallons. So a basic text is just like this:
311.8 3.049 10.567
If you want to add a note it can be something like:
311.8 3.049 10.567 70% highway driving
The extra note gets stored separately.
You can even designate multiple vehicles by starting the text with a preset letter you choose, which would be:
F 311.8 3.049 10.567 91 octane 80% highway

Here is the trip 2 screen which has not been reset since I bought the truck a few months ago. It showI get great highway mileage with my 2023 AWD 4k tow. 35-40+ highway, 21+ city with many red lights.![]()
Good mpg. I’ve averaged 33.8mpg since I bought mine 13,000 miles, 22 lariat AWD. I’ve got one 605 miles tank 37.6mpg Made one short trip where I averaged 45.5mpg. Usually around 35 mpg on highway 22 or so in town. I use the cruise control as much as possible even to accelerate and slow down by tapping up and down.EcoBoost 2.0 drove from Fort Drum New York to Medway ME

Heavy foot, I rarely see the 2000-2500 rpm and I only see around 22-24 mpg in town. Where mine shines is on highway, I’ve gotten as high as 45.5 but I use cruise control for everything and general set it at 65So to everyone calling BS on the low numbers... I'll gladly provide a photo here. I am not happy at all about this fuel economy. My 2016 Subaru crosstrek wasn't great on fuel mileage and at 100k miles was still averaging about 26mpg.
I am about 75% city driving and went through a topped off dealer tank by 272 miles and put in 13.95 gallons. I'm on my second tank now and guestimations based on the fuel gage should have me around 17.5 mpg.... I have a fully loaded Lariat Tremor with the 2.0 in it and was hoping to be around 21-22 city during the summer and expected 19-20 in winter. At this rate I'll be lucky getting 15-16 in the winter! I haven't done any towing, and because I'm still in the break in period I usually have it shifting between 2000-2500 rpm and rarely even get it to 3k unless merging but that's rare. Anyone have any idea what's up? I'm hoping it corrects itself but if it's still bad by 500 miles I'll be talking to the dealer to see if it can be diagnosed. Absolutely Love how this truck drives and it's so quiet but the fuel mileage and rattly sounding engine when it's cold is a huge disappointment.

Edit: it has been hot up here so ac has been running but that should only be 1 maybe 2mpg. I don't let it idle long because I'm cheap. Tremor so no 4k tow. Also reset trip/etc it at the dealer when I got it because it was showing 14mpg from the test drive at the factory I guess and I wanted to see what it would be real world. Got mine with 26 miles.
I just checked the accuracy of the dash fuel mileage indicator and found it to be very close to real mileage. 102.7 mile round trip 30% in town 70% interstate the dash mpg showed 31.5, the pump fill up showed it got 30.7 so we are within 1 mpg. On the highway mostly it goes around 38-43 on the indicator. I am very pleased.I get great highway mileage with my 2023 AWD 4k tow. 35-40+ highway, 21+ city with many red lights.![]()
