I know I'm not getting an email today, my 11-15-22 hybrid Lariat, lux probably will end up as a 2023, making my wait a full year or more but I wish they would send an email just to say that they still have my order in the system. Yes I got an "approved" ROVP print out from my dealer but an email from Ford would still be nice.
If Ford isn't randomly dropping orders then why would they feel they need to remind you specifically that, no, they haven't lost yours? You can go bug the customer service line if you want reassurance that your order is "In Processing".

Since I am new here and don't quite understand the process I am assuming that on Thursdays Ford sends out an email if there is a status update to your order? Meaning that if the vehicle is "in production" they will let you know on Thursdays via email.

Just wanted to clarify. I assume I will hear nothing for a while since I ordered on 1/25.
You will be waiting a long while. Depending on you order and available parts to build it the wait is excruciating.
I ordered 8-29-21, hybrid xl, moonroof, inverter, trailer hitch, tray style floor mats, co-pilot 360. Fairly simple but still subjected to chip shortage. Some poor folks ordered in June and are waiting. Tough times, good luck.

I believe Fordvideoguy said the other night that because the week started with the last day of January, this week counts for January allocations.
He also said it would be a small week for build notices.

I was starting to feel encouraged two weeks ago when more August hybrid orders were scheduled, but then hybrid production apparently became stalled. (They started moving build dates way back and last week's scheduling was almost all Ecoboosts.) I expect mine is still weeks away from getting scheduled.

I have a June hybrid, xlt Lux, 360, SIBL, order from a small home town dealer. I expect crickets. I’ve ordered a unicorn apparently.
You'd get the unicorn faster than the Maverick.

The Ford process is very clear. Those ordering last have the greatest chance of actually getting a build scheduled.

Once that is scheduled you will get a notice regarding a build date.

Prior to that build date you will get another notice telling you that either the build date was moved up by about a week or that it was delayed by up to 3 months.

After that you will get a notice telling you it was shipped. Shipping can take from 6-12 weeks depending on which rail or truck transfer yard is involved.

Then you will get a delivery notice. Your Maverick will be delivered to the dealer you ordered from.

Dealer will then inform you that due to market conditions an additional $6,000 will be required to secure your order.

At that point damage in transit will be found and the Maverick will be returned to the factory.

You will then be offered a chance to order again in August for a MY 2023 Maverick.

Keep watching Thursdays for your latest chance to move forward in the Ford Maverick Lottery.

May the odds be with you.

You forgot the part where the dealer adds 6k on top of msrp for the privilege of being in this wait

Ordered an EB on the 26th. Hearing good news from others with regards to EB. May not be in this go around or anytime soon but feeling a little more hopeful than looking for a hybrid off the lot
This guy is getting a build date today for sure. Early congrats!
