In direct comparison to my '22 AWD lariat 360 it's pretty much a toss-up. The tipping point for me is the lack of physical climate controls. I love the bigger screen and sync 4. The front end is still kinda funky on the '25 but meh on that. So, no new truck and still no payment.

I still like the front fascia of the 22-24 better, despite not seeing the 25 yet in person. I do like the new screen and upgraded tech/safety features. Only time will tell once my order comes in. Sometime next week possibly.

I know that's what I have, I'm talking about the 25s you can't get an XLT now with the luxury package and two-wheel drive! Comprende...
Haha re-read it again. Didn't know the xlt eco only came in AWD. I've been driving fwd in the snow for the past 24 years and never had a problem. It's more fun with traction control turned off in an empty parking lot.

To the topic at hand... So the only difference, is the grille/headlight/front bumper... and the lack of tailgate badging...

If I may ask, what is the "360" in your description?
With a '22 in lariat trim, I believe all I had to add was CP360, in order to complete the safety package that at the time came with the lariat trim. I have rear parking aid, evasive steering, lane centering, and ACC. I should have had the digital readout on the individual temperature dials, but they were dropped about 3 weeks before mine was built.

It seems like a committee did the new front end sorry.
It’s not a Hyundai — no reason to add those flaps to make the Maverick look spacey.

Spotted a 2025 maverick in terrain color outside REI in Marina Del Rey CA a couple days ago. At first I didn’t like the refresh but I will say after seeing it in person at the LA auto show a couple months ago and seeing it in the wild a couple days ago, it’s definitely growing on me but I still think I like the first generation better. What do you guys think?

The front on the 25 looks like a rushed after thought. Prefer my 23.

I don't understand the lack of physical climate controls? It appears to me that instead of knobs it a touch screen button as on mobile phones. Since it is always on, there is no diff. from what we see on phones? Pls correct me if I am wrong here?

That is essentially my understanding. The climate controls are on the touch screen. You cannot use learned tactile response to adjust-have to take eyes off the road.

You also can no longer get the Lariat hybrid with FWD only, same situation. If you want the Luxuries and safety tech, you have to buy the AWD.
