No garage door opener on 2025 Maverick ?

The Toyota Wireless mirror is not self dimming and the battery is not replaceable. I'm going to have to go for the Hyundai or Mazda.

Notoriously reliable Toyota ships that part on their vehicles, and it reportedly has a 10+ year battery life, but I can't say I disagree with your decision! Go forward and prosper.

Does Toyota warranty the battery for 10 years??
I care less about the garage door function as I do about having auto dimming.
I wouldn't mind spending $150+ if the mirror was auto dimming and the batteries were replaceable even if the batteries had to be replaced every one or two year.
I don't want to get into the Plastics removal or wiring issues

It sucks that you lost your remote. Buy a replacement on amazonia or eBay and program it. Easy to do.

I purchased a Meross bluetooth device that I can open my garage door with my iphone. However I installed it backwards so when it's open, my phone says it's closed and vice-versa....

Took me a couple hours, I'm a klutz. You could pay a radio install shop to install. $100 or less?

You do you, brother. I could care less about the auto dimming, though I have that exact same mirror in my Mazda Miata. I installed the Toyota part. Vive la difference!

I've heard they can steal your remote signal, best to just open the Garage Door manually!

Luckily I have the openers. One is on my bicycle so I can close the door after leaving and open it when arriving home. The other is in my Maverick in the little cubby hole below the drink holder. I didn't like it on the visor either.

My Camry that I had before the Maverick had the built-in garage door opener but when I knew the Maverick didn't have that feature on the day I ordered the Maverick, April 9th 2024, I started using the garage door opener in my Camry. Trying to program myself to not reach for the built-in opener but rather the actual opener.

Is it still true that on the 2025 maverick there is no integrated garage door opener.
I could not find anything in the owner manual or on the internet.
How do you open and close your doors.

No Maverick ever had a garage door opener. Many here installed an auto dimming rear view mirror that had integrated buttons enabling one to sync with the opener. It was one of the first modifications introduced in the club so there’s volumes of information on where to buy for cheap and how to install.

Although it's an easy fix, like a simple clip-on garage door clicker, I think for the increased prices over the years on the Maverick, it should have a built-in garage door opener at this point. If the Bronco Sport can have one (same platform and parts-sharing) then the Maverick should too. Especially when fully-equipped ones are now well north of $40K.

Don't let that stand in the way. Like you, I require homelink - I'm not leaving a garage door opener on the visor forever. It's just a personal pet peeve thing for me.

There are two good mirror replacements that include Homelink. One is a Toyota part number that is a very nice looking frameless design and is battery powered, so there are no power wires to connect. It's a 5 minute install. About $150.

The other is the auto-dimming mirror used by OEMs Hyundai and Mazda among others that requires a power connection to be made at the headliner. Harder install, but you get the auto-dimming feature. About $60.

Both are well-documented on this forum.
