2026 Maverick XLT hybrid. Haven’t hauled much in this one yet. Some flower pots for the wife. Usually make a trip or two to Chicago to get nail salon supplies for the wife; other than that occasional stuff but mainly a commuter from home to work.

Just went from a 24 hybrid to a 26 hybrid.

Asked for a vintage 1930 Maverick and got nothing that looked like the maverick. So attempt 2 was better but the passenger light looks dumb.

Just last night had to go pick up a family at the airport. Had 5 adults in the Maverick. Now, my wife, and the other 2 ladies in the back, all pretty short. Plus one carry-on since the bed of the truck was carrying 2 other carry-ons, 3 50lb suitcases and a 50lb box

At Ford's request, I had the dealer put a flight box in mine. Per usual, when you want the Maverick to act up; it doesn't. Since the box my battery hasn't went into sleep mode yet. Before it was almost every 4 or 5 days.

Our sales, parts and service department ate them already. Mention the word donut and in 30 seconds they are all gone. the poor body shop guys get absolutely nothing.

I tried to buy NB's the other week, my daughter wouldn't let me. Got slip on Sketchers instead.

I work in an office at a Ford Dealership, Ford has asked if I would put a flight recorder on mine to monitor it. A local friend who purchased one, doesn't drive it enough did a buy back since his was dead almost every other day.

I like when folks trade / buy new vehicles often... .keeps me employed. lol - work in accounting at a Ford Dealer ;-)

My 24 Lariat was problem free till a guy at Church told me about his problems and asked if mine did the same. Now when I go to work at the dealership; they are going to make me a sign that says "David's Maverick Parking" in the shop. A mechanic here monitors it and when it gets to 49% he...

Mine doesn't stay still to charge long enough to get hot. Have an iphone 15 pro max. I thought about making a foam base to go around it so it won't move.

Mine moves on me constantly.

My parents got this one used in 1982 from our next door neighbor. I got it in 1994. So it was kinda my first car. I'm not sure if I purchased the Tempo first or got the Galaxie first. The Galaxie makes for a better story as a first car than a 2 door Ford Tempo.

Imagine driving a Maverick all day to get into a 1936 Buick.....

My maverick is now dubbed the "Lab Rat". Ford Engineers are monitoring mine now. They were at the dealership to look at another one but mine was here as well with the same problem. They couldn't get the other one to throw a "spike" but after they left, mine did. The tech here sent the info...

yep.... i knew that. I blame the sleep mode on my ability to type what's wrong with my maverick as well.
