Just had three recalls done today, 24c01, 23c41 & 23e09. About an hour after leaving dealer lost power, barely got to a place to pull off highway. Shift knob was flashing, warnings started flashing, hill start assist not available, service soon, pre collision assist not available, service advance Trac, and parking brake applied automatically. Called the dealer and they were perplexed. After about 5 minutes & turning ignition on & off I got power back. A '23 XLT Hybrid, 1 year old, 7500 miles. Maybe best not to do recalls !! I see others on here with the same outcome after recall fixes. I had told service guy how much I liked my Maverick but noticed in this forum quite a few complaints. He replied if you get a good one they are great but are plenty that aren't so great. After waiting almost 2 years and now this..... Come on Ford, don't tell us to get a recall when it makes matters worse & potentially dangerous. Check engine light still on but was not able to pull any codes, leading me to believe will go out on its own, but will this continue to happen ??

I had a bunch of recalls done and fast forward 2 weeks same thing. Every warning under the sun. Park immediately do not drive. Engine wouldn’t work, had to limp into garage with electric only. Charged up 12v system and seemed to be fine.
These hybrids get a recall a month I swear.

I won't have another recall done unless all four tires are falling off at the same time. I did the turn signal recall and got hyper flashing dash indicator right after. Fortunately, Lasfit made it right with newer l.e.d bulbs and all is good. Recently got the notice about the Instrument Panel Illumination, 24C01. Mine is working perfect and no way is it going to the shop. If it quits I can always drive it in and say "fix it". Only 3 months old and i am about to call my son and get my Tundra back. Come on Toyota, get us a small hybrid truck! I have seen the "Stout" in other countries, lets get it over here! Seems many on this forum are tired of the recalls also and I don't blame them. End of rant.

3 recalls in a year? I have 2, 14 year old dodges that have had one recall for the both of them in 14 years. Nervous about my ecoboost maverick!

Sounds like electrical maybe. Check 12v battery. I had my recalls done in my driveway and had my my lariat in ready state for 20 minutes before tech arrived (to insure 12v was not low. I told tech and he said "great I won't get my power supply out". Maybe one of updates didn't completely complete. With only 7500 miles and 1 year old, I would put battery on maintainer every 3 or 4 months for longevity reasons since the truck uses the 12v so heavily. By all means let dealer check it all out. Check engine light most likely just needs to cycle a few times without new codes and will turn off. I know when my recalls done in driveway the tech turned all heat AC max on/off etc, etc so 12v may have just been drawn down and needed a recharge. Good luck

I don't think 14 year old dodge has several thousand chips to program an get to work harmoniously together.

Right before this occurred, did you happen to accelerate hard, like merging onto the interstate etc.? Same thing happened to me about a year ago in my 22 XLT Hybrid and the cause for me was a hard acceleration onto the interstate. Ended up being air/fuel mix issue with no fix and it hasn't happened since. I had it into two Ford dealers and neither could find anything "wrong". I reported to NHTSA on their website, given the fact that all power was lost on a busy interstate with my family in the vehicle. Had to limp on electric only to the nearest exit. Turned it off for a few minutes and then back on, and everything worked fine with only a check engine light.

24C01, 23C41 were completed in my driveway 2 days ago. All is well in very limited testing.

I've got 1000 miles to drive this week. If anything happens, I'm reporting it to everyone under the sun. And I'm gettin' a damn attorney to get the lemon law process started, haha.

Sound like tech error to me.

Shoot,
I had the recalls done in my driveway, and haven’t had any issues at all.

Be sure to not report it April the 8th as you could miss quite a few during the Eclipse.

It’s 2024, chips have been around awhile in vehicles, that’s no excuse, ford needs to get there shit together and have software engineers and qa folks that know what their doing and not use the owners as gunnie pig testers for their lack of, just my opinion. But I must say I’ve been lucky, zero recalls or issues with my EB so far but did get the turn signal recall recently but I couldn’t care less about it

I care because I expect the hyper flash to truthfully disclose when a problem is actually happening or not happening. Yes Ford should not have let it happen but since it did I definitely want them to correct it.
