The short answer is no. The longer answer would be to just use the CarPlay "dashboard" screen. This lets you see your map as the largest portion, your next navigation step in the top right corner and your Now Playing in a smaller rectangle. The Now Playing will only show what's currently playing...
Yes, I'm aware. And mine does from time to time. But most of the time, ICE shuts off when coming to a stop or slowing down. That's why I found it odd that loss of power at slow speeds, or when stopping, is the issue they are indicating.
Your theory is interesting and very well could be the case. It feels odd to me though that when I had my total loss of power, it was after driving for an hour. One would think the truck would have charged up the 12V in that amount of time.
That's interesting, you're the first I've seen. All others I have noticed have been at speed or when accelerating. However, those are the ones I "look" for because it happened to me.
Agree, it says NOTHING about loss of power while "at speed" or during acceleration. I haven't seen any posts on here about people losing power when slowing down (Hybrids shut off their engine when coming to a stop all the time), so I have no idea what this will fix for us Hybrid owners.
If you navigate to the PDF file address on his screenshot, it does list HEV Mavericks

However, it notes in the PDF that the Hybrid and/or EB Mavericks might stall when coming...
Completely justified. During the winter months, remote start is constantly disabled because of low 12V power. Definitely because of all the data and "calls" being made by the onboard modules.
I understand the desire to "disconnect" and keep your data private. However, Ford is able to use that system to see any and all Check Engine Light codes that have popped up over time, even if it's not there anymore. This can be helpful in diagnosing issues you're having that conveniently don't...
It's likely your dealership that is using CarFax. I get reports all the time and the mileage is close but not spot on. They are estimating how far you've driven since your last service. Your dealership also enters when you've completed recalls etc. Ford, Valvoline and lots of other service...
Mine happened before any software updates for the most recent recalls (I'm very hesitant to even let them install these updates). This is a flaw in the hybrid design for sure. Could be the result of subpar chips that were sourced during the shortage and they just don't want to pay for higher...
Good points all, but my Hybrid has NEVER started spontaneously for 30 seconds. What I think the poster was referring to is that fact that the ICE only runs on remote start if the Hybrid battery or 12V needs charged up, anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes, and then the ICE shuts off while...
First, if you have a 2022 XLT like I do, then the key must be in the ignition to start or continue to run (with the exception of remote start from FordPass), so you can rule out the key fobs being the culprit. So, it's almost certainly an issue with FordPass. 1. The previous owner could have set...
Here's an F-150 forum post discussing exactly the same Error 614 on their ab files. Looks like a common error and nothing to be concerned about: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/ecu-module-programming-guide-using-fdrs.8249/post-174155
Right before this occurred, did you happen to accelerate hard, like merging onto the interstate etc.? Same thing happened to me about a year ago in my 22 XLT Hybrid and the cause for me was a hard acceleration onto the interstate. Ended up being air/fuel mix issue with no fix and it hasn't...
Chilton has online access to their manuals. You have to have a library card in most cases but it's free to access. Chilton Library Here is the link to the main page, just scroll down and click Access Through Your Library Access Through Your Library
I second the App via CarPlay or Android Auto. However, there are some receivers you can buy that have bluetooth transmitters built in. Just depends on your use case. Do you travel mainly where there is adequate cell signal? Go with the App. Driving through the wilderness? Get a receiver with...
I've had one or two false notifications, but these occurred on a windy road where the truck sensed a parked car in a driveway while rounding the turn. I don't know if that was a possibility in your case.
