If I waited 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation I'd be fuming mad.All over the map depending on how busy that they are. 1-3 hours. I usually do tire rotations at the same time.

The last time I checked Walmart it was $48.88 for full synthetic and most major brands. You’ll probably have to pay for an extra quart because the Hybrid holds 5.7 qts.Just did my first oil change at 3000 miles. Autozone charged me just under $50 for 6 quarts of Valvoline full synthetic 0W-20, including a free extended life oil filter and my military discount. What's the going rate at the dealer these days?
I will say that the plastic panel under the engine seems stupidly designed. There is an access hole for the drain plug, but it's not lined up right to allow the oil to drain straight down without making a mess. There is no access to the filter at all without removing the entire panel under the engine, about a dozen screws. Not a big deal, but more work than it should be and I see a high potential for losing or stripping these screws out in the future. Am I missing something here? Was this panel designed with only the ecoboost in mind or something?
I usually buy Mobil 1 never heard of Mobile OneCostco often discounts Mobile One.
Hmmm, I wonder if my 2009 Ram has that. I've never actually changed the oil on it myself because it has the lifetime powertrain warranty and I'm scared the dealer will void it if they don't have detailed service records. They said I could do it myself and save the receipts, but I don't trust them.My 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 had a really cool little composite ramp for the oil to slide down when you removed the oil filter. This way the oil didn't get all over the cross member below it. That was awesome. Love it when engineers are thoughtful about design. We had a Honda Accord that when you removed the filter, the oil dribbled all down the engine. Ugh.
I now have a Mavvy Hybrid, about to do my first oil change.
I change my own oil also have done it 3 time like you said a pain in the. With removing the shield
If you want to save about 12 dollars go to Walmart and get your oil and filter Valvoline, Castrol, Mobil full Syn all about the same price and 8 to 10 dollars for a 15000 to 20000 mile filter . First time cost me a little more as I bought 10 quarts and take one quart out of it along with the 5 I buy to make 6 quarts
.
Next time I change my oil I'm going to cut a hole in the bottom pan. so I can change the oil and filter with out taking it off . Going to put hinges and a small latch to secure the piece back in . Hey Ford are you listening I'm sure you could do this also and look alot better then mine will look but you won't hell my pan is so butchered from the dealership and falling apart and you won't replace it . I love my Maverick But Fixed Or Repaired Daily with all these recall repairs are crazy Also Ford wears your second recall repair for the fire problem you said it would be out in October of 23 well if you're not looking at your calendar it's October of 23 late October of 23 just thought I'd let you know Ford

I live in South Carolina where prices are usually more reasonable. My other car takes a tad over 4 quarts of the same weight so I have enough left over for the Maverick when I buy two 5 quart containers. The last time I checked Walmart it was $48.88 for full synthetic and most major brands. You’ll probably have to pay for an extra quart because the Hybrid holds 5.7 qts.
Mobile One is the spoken version.I usually buy Mobil 1 never heard of Mobile One
I thought it was the new oil from T-Mobile.Mobile One is the spoken version.![]()
The 5.7 is a bit of a misnomer. The last time I checked Walmart it was $48.88 for full synthetic and most major brands. You’ll probably have to pay for an extra quart because the Hybrid holds 5.7 qts.
Yes, I added 5.7 at my first oil change. Like yours, a slight over-fill. I think 5 1/2 quarts is the sweet spot. The 5.7 is a bit of a misnomer.
It seems not all of it comes out.
Thus you'll need to add 5 to 5.5 something like that.
On the dipstick there is one whole quart of "wiggle room" in the acceptable depth of oil.
First 2 were free at the dealer.
(and they over-filled)
Third I will do myself.
A 5 quart bottle is probably enough.
I'll let you know next summer.
There's more than a quart of space between the holes.

This photo is still an over-fill.
