A quick note on oil change of 2.5L Hybrid

I agree. My wife has a 2015 Escape ECO boost with 80K on the clock. The OLM has issued alarms consistently at 7500 mi, so I trust the system is working. Going forward, I plan to do the same thing for the Maverick. At about 10% life left, perform oil change w/filter myself.

When towing for a coast to coast vacation, my OLM told me to change oil at 6,000 miles and only 3 months of time.

Currently I have 12,600 miles on this oil and OLM is at 10% 9 months in. ( some towing but probably less than 500 miles total )
