Buy a small bullet anenna, I did and it works just as good as the big antenna.I have had my hybrid XLT for 3 months and the biggest gripes I have is the seat belt withdrawing to quickly, which someone else has said, and the alerts for the seat belts that pop up everytime that I start. I have gotten used to the key start and the seats have been comfortable for me so far and I have taken a couple long drives without issue. I just have to remember to take the antenna off everytime I go through the car wash, but that is my own worry and not an indication that it can't survive a car wash.
But those are minor and I deal with them. I feel lucky to have gotten a Hybrid at all and average 45 on my daily commute with almost 7,000 miles on it so far. I actually get stopped when filling up at gas stations or in parking lots by people who are interested in the truck and have never seen one. I have never had that happen with any car I owned.
