Carplay is slow as hell to connect, sometimes have to unplug my phone a few times to get it to work.

We love ours. But nothing is perfect. I find the front seat to be a bit too short and my legs don’t get enough support. It makes me use the adaptive cruise control more, so that’s nice. I bought a seat extender online but it didn’t fit the seat. Anybody have any good recommendations?

Otherwise, averaging 45 MPG for the first month of use. Very happy with everything else.
Weird question but what's your inseam ?

XLT hybrid. Super happy with it.
Only beef is the deep area for the windshield wipers. Tough to remove snow and ice.
Love the truck though. Feel lucky I received it.
Ordered September 9. Received January 13.
Only option, full size spare.

Does ford make another bucket seat that you like better? Highly probable that most seats will fit the maverick with minor adjustments (if any) to the rails and to keep side airbags active.

No locking gas cap door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe search for a locking gas cap? Not sure what will work with the EcoBoost. You would need to remove the gap cap and compare. Is there even a gas cap on the EcoBoost? I assume so because it is a push open door.

I’ve had my truck for a little over a week so I still have a long way to go with it but right off the bat I had a couple minor gripes with it. One being the side mirrors and rear view mirror being a little too small for my liking. I have a rear sliding window in my truck and combined with the small rear view mirror my visibility out the back sucks to put it plainly. I bought one of those clip on rear view mirrors on and that has helped tremendously but I feel like the clip on mirror takes up a lot of visibility and I’ve found myself ducking to look around it. Those are my couple minor things I’m not super fond about but overall I absolutely love this truck. It’s been fantastic and there’s way more things I like about the truck than don’t like.
Side mirrors are likely replaceable with Bronco Sport or Escape Mirrors.. that said I don’t know if they are larger.

I just picked mine up today and the only issue I have is the damn rearview mirror is so small. Everything else seems great so far.

Maybe having cruise control on the left, my last vehicle was on the right so it might just be getting used to where the buttons are so I dont have to look down at it.

It gets very hot inside and it’s not even warm weather yet. This maybe the same complaint I entered earlier I can’t remember but after this week it deserves to be said again. The “leather” seats absorb it all and it burns. I think the windshield acts as a magnifying glass 🥵

Grumbles:
- The lack of adaptive cruise control on the XLT trim.
- The use of a key in the XLT trim.

Growls:
- The likelihood that cost and supply chain issues gave us an 8" screen with a little shrine instead of a proper 12" screen.
- No hybrid with AWD and 4K tow.

Oh come on you know they could have done this:
- I wish they could have reduced the engine bay by 5", pushed the cab forward, and offered a 5' bed.
Biggest grumble in not being built and still waiting!

Yea the Vinyl seats where definitely a no go for me specially in my location Las Vegas it get to hot in the summer time, the wife’s only request was no leather she burn her legs when she has shorts or skirts on. That made me get the XLT with Lux leaving me with no push to start, witch is probably the biggest thing I miss, also the cubby hole is so strange, I end up just resting my hand on it to change the radio stations or look for a song. The rest of the truck is awesome the door handles feel great, solid. The interior space is actually good.

I live in Texas and we just got ours last month. We’ve had a couple of warm days and I’ve noticed the windshield acts as a magnifying glass. I can’t imagine what summer will bring.

I bought a dashboard mat to help absorb the heat. It works fine but the fit is 8/10. Its all held down by velcro strips.

Im glad someone else has noticed this also.

This is the first car I ever owned without a shifter, I’m thinking of glueing a shifter to the knob so I have a place for my right hand to rest. Seriously one of the most practical vehicles I’ve ever owned.

Why couldn’t they just make the flex bed standard instead of having to add it. Same with the side compartments. Seems silly that you have to buy and install a prefabricated compartment that could have been standard. I wish the side mirrors were a little bigger too so you can see more behind you when driving. I love the truck though they did a great job on it.

Invest in a clear Nano ceramic tint for the the windshield. 3M, XPEL, and Formula One make them.
