Carplay is slow as hell to connect, sometimes have to unplug my phone a few times to get it to work.

Weird. CarPlay is unbelievable quick in mine. Try the radio update and factory reset. Hopefully that helps you.

Getting used to volume knob.. I owned a fusion so its just different spot because I'm higher up. Apple car plays works fine but sometimes it will show black screen in my garage for few moments until put my phone in the usb .

It gets very hot inside and it’s not even warm weather yet. This maybe the same complaint I entered earlier I can’t remember but after this week it deserves to be said again. The “leather” seats absorb it all and it burns. I think the windshield acts as a magnifying glass

I honestly didn’t look that long. Just a larger frameless mirror that shouldn’t block vision. The one also offers battery powered Homelink, so no running wires.

Hybrid non lux. But my original order came in but my dealer marked it up. My new order was done in October with a more legit (hopefully) dealer. I’m hopefully for summer to late fall

For some reason I cant get the radio update with the truck connected to my home network. I'm going to ask for it to be done at my first oil change.

Invest in a clear Nano ceramic tint for the the windshield. 3M, XPEL, and FromulaOne make them.

Thanks for cluing me in! I had no idea ceramic blocked heat like that.

I'm very interested in the Maverick Hybrid, but a couple of things have me scratching my head....

I have to buy the Lariat edition to get push-button start? The XLT should have this.​

I have to remove the entire skid plate to change the oil? Just put a cut-out in the skid plate. To not have this is just dumb.​

Both of these items seem not so well thought out to me. A small, inexpensive, hybrid truck is a brilliant idea. How does Ford drop the ball with this sort of stuff?

Grumbles:
- The lack of adaptive cruise control on the XLT trim.
- The use of a key in the XLT trim.

Growls:
- The likelihood that cost and supply chain issues gave us an 8" screen with a little shrine instead of a proper 12" screen.
- No hybrid with AWD and 4K tow.

Oh come on you know they could have done this:
- I wish they could have reduced the engine bay by 5", pushed the cab forward, and offered a 5' bed.

Agreed with these. The Alto Blue might as well be called black. Can't tell the difference unless the sun is shining on it just right, then you see a little blue in there.

Also, the screen and the dashboard are straight up and down. A slight tilt would make them easier to read for a taller person.
