I don't believe any electronic are required to run a 4 pin wire connector for a stand alone hitch. All trim levels have tow mode if not mistaken. So the only extra electronics needed should be for 4k tow packages.
Not true, there are many posts regarding electronics for all hitches. There are even recalls related to lighting issues due to the module. The 4 pin is more than just splicing into existing wires.

It seems 4K Tow package is not on this list as a "key" constraint. Curious about that as when I spoke with my dealer last week they said that's the "only thing that could be holding my order back".
Perhaps he's reading into the hitch constraint too much, unless I'm mistaken we don't have any info here on the 7-pin connector.

Then it's pointlessly over engineered

In your humble opinion.

It allows the vehicle to realize it is towing a vehicle. Turning off the rear parking sensors and probably adjusting the vehicles sway control algorithm. It also can detect a burned out bulb in the trailer.

Found a corner of wifi for my laptop. Even being generous with the hybrids at 50% going back to March, I don't see how 21% of outstanding orders are still EB unless there has been that many shift to EB in the last few weeks. Ford started out with 35% EB and that would indicate Ford has built less than half of the EBs so far despite having the capacity to completely clear out those orders so far.
They still haven't scheduled my Ecoboost order. I do have a tow hitch on my order, but I have to think my problem is allocations.

[Trying to keep in mind that the chart represents Ford-Math (2+2=2 :) )] Is it fair to say that according to this chart and according to CEOs statement that perhaps 33% of MY23 Hybrids will not get built this year (https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/article-on-ford-building-my23-orders.32577/), that the majority of the 33% not being built will likely be the XL? Thus there may be a moderately good chance that most MY23 XLTs and Lariats will get built?

Allocations my be everyone's problems. If Ford is truly that far behind on EBs, then it has to be constraints, allocations, or fleets. And my spreadsheet is basically useless.

Ford has most likely a little over 100,000 retail and fleet orders. They have built or already scheduled to build 72,500 https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/highest-23-vin-tracker.22705/ with around 2.5 months of scheduling still left for August through October.

Dealer allocation is king. It trumps anything else. Most of those that do not get a 23, will be due to dealer allocation.

It's odd that there isn't a 2nd classification for the 4K Tow Package... They don't show it... rather just the generic Tow Hitch.

Would like to see the take-up rate on the 4K Tow Package.

Anyone know if it increases your odds to be built if you have some of the options that are undersold... Like sunroof, xlt lux package?
My original Sep 22 order had the hitch and splash guards on a hybrid XLT. Mid-February 23 I removed the hitch and splash guards, added the spray in liner and cargo management, 4 weeks later I was scheduled for production. Just picked up my Maverick 2 days ago. It worked for me and others here, but that doesn’t mean it will work for everyone.

That PC 99 does seem very low. Heck, 214 orders could be from one (or several) dealers that are totally ignorant (or lazy) with regards to COVP. I would've thought the number was closer to several thousand.
It's early. It will rise.

It’s interesting how unpopular the Tremor has proven to be. There are only a handful of unscheduled units and the take rate was built out to be 10%.

Oh maverick gods. Me again. I’m still here at 1% of the tremor orders. Don’t forget about me. Bless my dealer with my allocation :ROFLMAO:
