My dealer just told me that my Tremor is the next EB in line. He wouldn't tell me how many Hybrids are ahead of me. So I probably have to wait a couple of more weeks. My priority code is 15. There are a lot of EB behind me at 19
Hope your dealer is not blowing smoke. Lots of people with Priority 10 are still waiting. Last time I checked, Ford would notify you before or at same time they notified dealer. I honestly do not think the dealer knows when you are "next in line," especially if he is telling you it will be a couple of weeks. After all, this is Ford. FORD - Figure Out Rescheduling Dates.'

I thought about cancelling the hitch on my order, but I can't buy it and the wiring and the labor for the same price, if I need to use a truck in the mean time, my Dad will let me use his 2009 F-350 SRW V-10 4x4, but he tells me to make sure and top off the tank when you are done....@ 10MPG
Thinking about a 2023 Colorado which is in production now. Not exactly the same niche but a small 4x4 LT reasonably equipped for mid $30k is not a bad counter for mid-$30k Lariat that you can't get and may never get.

I am going to hedge a bet that your EB Tremor will be produced before my Hybrid. I have been ready for production since November.

I just built a 4x4 Colorado LT and only added the safety package for the BLIS and such. Came out to $38, 170.

I'm not knocking the Colorado, but almost 40 grand for a mid-size P/U, Judas Priest!!

Who has a clue with Ford, especially since they do not have a clue. Whatever little white ball falls out is the lucky one that gets built. Hopefully something soon. As far as the PHEV's go, I am not that impressed vs. a regular Hybrid. I have not done a lot of research, but do own a Hybrid Kia Niro and looked at that vs. a plug-in one. For the extra $7K, the plug-in PHEV would give me about 40 miles before gas engine kicked in. I can take my wife's Hybrid Mav and drive thru town at 35-40 mph for 18-20 miles in all electric, so it is a no brainer for me.

I'm wondering if the new 3rd shift that starts in the June/July time frame will be dedicated to finally getting to the retail orders, since Ford doesn't seem to be able to get there now. Being that the third shift will likely be a late-night shift, I hope quality won't suffer. At this point, at priority 19, I will be surprised if I'm not still waiting to hear anything before well into the summer. I also don't think there has been a time since I placed my order where something on my build spec isn't resource constrained. At least that list is growing shorter.

My hope is that the third shift (especially if it's late-night) is put to building fleet so that the two day shifts can work on retail. Not as big of a deal if the paint is wonky on a fleet truck that I just going to get wrapped and only driven for a few years compared to a retail order that might be driven for 10+ years like I'm planning with mine (once it is scheduled/built/shipped).

You might be surprised at how significant 40 miles is. I have a PHEV Chrysler pacifica with only a 31 mile range. For my daily commute that is enough to keep me in electric mode 5-6 days a week. The only time the gas engine is used is for longer out of the ordinary trips. Obviously everyone's scenario is going to be different and I agree that $7k is pretty steep. Maybe that car is still offering a $7500 tax credit.

I ordered the end of Feb 2022 and got my vin last week.... dealer said I will get scheduling info next week ?

I'm not sure if this is real or a dream but does getting a VIN mean I will get my truck this year ?

Edit: to clarify dealer emailed me my vin a week ago and said I would be scheduled in about 10 days but nothing from ford or on order tracking yet

It is possible. Ford rep. told me 2-3 days before my scheduled email that next email from Ford would give a VIN.

None of the 3 factories with multiple shifts I've worked at run this way lol. Currently working for a large aerospace supplier, we don't build Boeings on 1st and 2nd then switch to Airbus on 3rd. We just run in the order we receive it. Maybe Ford is different, but I highly doubt it.
