There is Sync upgrade for XL/XLT that is more expensive since it is not Sync 3 to 4. The XL/XLT has sync most call 2.5 so it is more to upgrade to 4 than the lariat which has sync 3.

i doubt they get rear ended at a higher frequency than any other vehicle. When they do get rear ended it causes more damage than a bigger truck though. while they are very safe, unibody frames are more likely to be totaled than a big truck.

It is more of a studer or delay with mine. It's as if the camera is not always in real time. Or has a less than second lag when backing up. I just have adjusted to it all the time. Just have to not rely on it if you are reversing fast. It's more of annoyance that anything. I'm a pretty cautious...
