Same boat for me. Put a deposit on a Ranger that's still sitting at Dearborn as of Monday. Earliest ETA is April 6th. Still, I would rather wait the 1-2 months it will be than the minimum 6+ more months it would have been. I'll be so used to waiting that I won't know what to do with myself once...
No luck for you then, Bob? Damn, I was hoping.
I could have held out a week to see if mine would have gotten scheduled instead of cancelling last week, but the chance to bite at a Ranger that was fully loaded and not yet on lot was too great. Plus, I realized I would have preferred a different...
Quick update if anyone is even interested haha.
I went to the dealership with the Carbonized Grey 2023 Ranger incoming. I was able to see a 2019 XLT in the same colour and test drive a 2021 Lariat. They also had a (fleet XLT) Maverick in Carbonized Grey right near the two Rangers so I was able...
Many of you are saying the same things that I have been thinking. I think my next step is to take a test drive in a 23 Ranger to see if I would enjoy driving it the same.
The two stock Rangers are almost exactly what I would have ordered anyway so I am not settling in terms of packages. Any...
I know compared to many people on here I haven't waited very long. As of today I put in my "reservation" with my dealer 168 days ago and my order was finalized with Ford 118 days ago (Nov 9 2022, I'm in Canada).
Three orders from my dealership were scheduled as of the last proper scheduling...
My hope is that the third shift (especially if it's late-night) is put to building fleet so that the two day shifts can work on retail. Not as big of a deal if the paint is wonky on a fleet truck that I just going to get wrapped and only driven for a few years compared to a retail order that...
I have a 2013 2.0L Escape SE. Test driving the base XLT at my dealer felt exactly like my Escape. I do really enjoy how my car drives, and honestly the interior feels almost exactly the same too. Many many more features coming in my Lariat EB Mav (pretty well fully loaded) so it really is just...
While we're talking about crazy Canadian markups, I would love to call attention to this one. This is a 2022 Lariat w/ lux and nothing else as far as I can tell. 9,428 km (5858.28 mi). They want $52,900 CAD ($39443.76 USD) for it and that doesn't include the documentation fee of $699 CAD...
Canadian here, for reference. My 2023 Lariat has everything but Fx4 and the moonroof (EcoBoost) and its MSRP is $51,040 (CAD). That's a wild markup on that! On Ford.ca base 2023 XLTs are $32,700 (CAD) not sure what options it has but yeah, big markup regardless.
$51,040 CAD -> $38056.89 USD...
Also quickly want to point out that the tailgate assist was not available to order from factory, at least not from anything I saw. It was always going to have to be aftermarket.
My guess depends on whether I measure from the day I put in my pre-order (I went in on Sept 20, 2022 when I heard US order banks were closing but Canadian order banks weren't open yet) or when my order was finalized (Nov 4, 2022 when I went back in being told it was "the last day"). This is a 45...
My Mav will not only be my first truck, but will also be my first new vehicle. Not my first Ford, though, as I have an Escape (my true first vehicle). My dad has had Fords forever, I learned to drive in his 2008 Explorer Sport Trac.
My biggest issue is that they're an "all"-season (aka 3-season) tire and I live in Canada. Once I get my truck and it comes to the winter I'll buy a set of Nokian WRG4s to put on it. I have a set of the Nokian on my current vehicle (2013 Escape) and they've been amazing even going through...
Up here in Canada, we don't even have a hope to get an email from Ford. It's talk to your dealer, do Ford chat (if you can get it to work), or call the Customer Service line. I'm just glad the sales manager at my dealership is good about communication.
Wondering if they meant hybrids being scheduled for EXACTLY week 5 (assuming week 5 means Feb 6-12 [correct me if this isn't how Ford numbers weeks]), rather than only hybrids would be scheduled during this scheduling session. I haven't looked super closely so I may be way off.
From my personal experience, unless Canadian order banks sneakily opened up again (not impossible but I very much doubt it) the 2023MY orders closed in Canada on 2022-11-04. I finalized my order on that day after a panicked phone call from my dealer saying that I had to come in because it was...
Perhaps OP is Canadian? I'm from Canada and our order banks closed on November 4th (which is when my order was psuedo-rolled-over but that's another story). Despite being a month and a half after the American banks closed, my order is Unscheduled-Clean.
