Has anyone seen this???? OEM spray in bed liner to no bed liner??

So below is pics from ford with and with out bedliner. So if you op out and do your own liner you lose the ford in the back.. why did that do this?

Yeah, the Ford logo in the liner is nice. In the before times the liner was a constraint. Not sure why unaffiliated shops would do a Ford logo in their liner though.

The "Ford" is molded from the liner material, not the sheet metal underneath.

It has always been this way. The only way to get the Ford logo in the bed liner is to have the liner done by Ford.

It's just a stupid insert that they put in before spraying. I honestly don't know why this matters, it's so trivial. From someone who has the factory spray in bedliner, the aftermarket liners are way better and I should have gone that route. I couldn't care any less about the Ford logo

It's a plastic logo they tape on before spraying. Maybe you can find a similar logo and ask the ship if they can apply it?

Probably. But probably easier to just 3-D print it since its going to have a rough liner sprayed on top. Doesn't have to be perfect. Haha.

Gonna wait till my bed gets all scratched up, then I will get an armorthane liner sprayed in locally. Did the same with my 94 silverado I bought new. It took 25 years for it to get bad enough to put a spray liner in it.

I was very happy to have been able to include the SIBL because I like the custom Ford in the back, the price (including the cargo management system), potential dealer warranty and not having to fuzz with this later. When my 2022 order was rolled over I had an opportunity to add this BACK in.
Everyone's situation and opinion is different but I think it looks cool.
