What is the benefit of rear sliding window?

That's the truth. Everytime I haul hay in the summer I forget and open it afterwards. Once I hit 35 or above it's an absolute shower of chaff spraying into the cab.

I find the premise of this thread humorous. What function beyond "it opens and provides ventilation" is needed for a window opening? Not saying there aren't other benefits, some decent ideas here. But the benefit is the same as a sunroof. It opens...

Make sure all windows, other than the rear, are closed. Air cannot come in the rear if it can’t get out someplace else.
Never heard of a pickup cab exploding!

Ya, but when it's 110 degrees out sometimes a person forgets to roll the windows up when starting out. Even then, sometimes it'll never move back there till later in the day when ya open them again.

It seems like those rear windows are so small they wouldn't be useful for anything. But even if they were bigger why do people want them? I do remember as a kid riding in the back of pick ups and being able to talk to passengers up front. But not too many people do that nowadays.

It's the one option I added that I want to pull from my order. Convince me otherwise
