Long time lurker, first time poster. I had a similar experience talking with my dealer this morning. He seems to believe that my 22 is still going to be built based on the fact I have a VIN and a production date that hasn't been balanced out yet. He also had no idea that they were duplicating the order and turning them into 23s, so I'm feeling a little worried since he doesn't seem to have any idea. I told him to call be back once he can edit things so we can get the priority code changed.
Find the official Ford memo that explains that certain 22 hybrids with VINs will be cancelled and email that to your dealerships sales manager and sales person and tell them that this is an official Ford memo that they can find in their internal bulletin. Once they finally find that, it should be crystal clear.

I don't remember the date off hand but if you can also tell them when the memo went out, that should make it easier for them to find.

It's really frustrating and should be embarrassing for them that the customer has to inform them of things like this and tell them where to find it in their own system that in all honestly we should have no business knowing it's there...

Ford customer service can see that there is an order in the system.
OK that's what I thought, they are saying they only see the 22MY order and a status of update pending.

Man I HOPE that is true... I wish there was an option that said: Put the <insert option > on if you have it... otherwise build it without!
That option is your dealer being on top of things and will tell you not to have constrained items on your build. Or even better, watch Tim and this forum.

Tim, Did you mean "Dealers can NOT make any changes without customer authorization."? If so, does that mean that I, the customer, must have the opportunity to review and authorize my MY23 transition order before it changed to Priority 02 and gets scheduled? This question is based on the fact that the order must be changed given that my MY22 order contained the XLT Lux Package and at minimum that will require selection of the MY23 Lux Package PLUS new standalone options to make up for what was dropped from the MY22 XLT Lux Package. I wish to make changes and don't want the dealer to place the new order without my requested changes and authorization. Thanks!
No, they CAN make changes without your authorization. There are posts here that describe dealers removing options from 22 builds in order to get them built, without consent from the customer. If you don't want them to make changes then you should really get in contact with them and let them know.

That option is your dealer being on top of things and will tell you not to have constrained items on your build. Or even better, watch Tim and this forum.
The dealer thing is not going to happen.
I've been told to remove hitch and Spray in and also to to leave it in. So.... again nothing is crystal clear.

I did a new chat with a different person, and they confirmed that there is a 2023 order in. That's good - now to get my dealer's head out of the sand...
My dealer now says that they see the 2023 order and they already changed the priority code, so I think I'm all set. They also said they were aware of the private offer amount, which is good to know. Interestingly, they are still convinced that the 2022 order will be built "because the system says it's scheduled" 😆

I asked about changing a few things on the order but they strongly recommended not to, claiming that they tried to modify someone else's and it deleted the whole thing. That sounds to me like someone doesn't know how to use the software, and I'm not going to take a chance with the same thing happening to mine so I'm just going to leave it alone. I can add remote start and the spray in liner later, which is probably better anyway since the liner is a big constraint item.

They also told me that they currently have about 80 2023 orders, and 70 are hybrids (I don't know how many are rollovers).

Just got off the phone with my dealer. He sees the MY23 order with priority 99 but is still locked out. He tried it again while I was on phone. He will continue to keep trying. 5:25 pm Pacific Time

Just got done with Ford chat and they said only my 22 order is showing. Guess I'm calling my dealer tomorrow

I didn't get that out of it at all...for cancelled 22/23 orders.

It did get a little disjointed when both were not completely on the same page, trying to answer all the questions about things Tim already had covered. Guess the late-arrivers never thought of starting at the beginning of the live video.

Thanks , I went to the dealer today and he tried but no change.
please post when you know we can.
he said it was priority 2 and scheduled but could not get a new vin
