  1. Sad Maverick Owner. So mad at Ford...

They specifically call out returning a loaner in the OP.
  2. Voluntarily recall for the air/fuel enrichment calibration not functioning as intended?

FordPass and mail notifications. Also when I called dealer they said it sounded like the recall issue. Can also search your VIN on NHTSA
  3. Voluntarily recall for the air/fuel enrichment calibration not functioning as intended?

Yup. Truck was driving very poorly. Check engine light on. Horrible MPG, reporting misfires. Brought to dealer and and hour later it was running like new again.
  4. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Dealer determined the 23E09 PCM reprogram was the fix. Was at the dealership for about an hour and was done. It had been getting misfiring codes and ran poorly on the way over with poor mpg. On the way home it ran great and got 45mpg, more in line with what I had been getting.
  5. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Yup. Didn’t see anything loose. I’ll be bringing it in for sure.
  6. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Yeah. Prices are still over 3 here. I totally get your sentiment about the fillup and certainly could be contributing but I did notice previous tank was lower mpg than is typical, so wasn’t thinking it was that.
  7. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Absolutely is my plan. Just wasn’t sure if others had seen this could help me help point them in the right direction. No idea about a loaner from then and I need a vehicle, so time is limited.
  8. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Definitely wasn’t labeled as E85. Tbh I’ve never actually see that at a station as I don’t think that’s a thing up here in Massachusetts. I DID fill up yesterday though…
  9. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

As I’m not a car guy… That sounds bad. I’m not planning on running it hard. Just not strictly cruise control speed limit.
  10. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Yeah I wasn’t planning on being crazy at 5am just thinking I’d drive like everyone else. Lol.
  11. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Ok. I typically run it pretty conservatively as I’ve decided I don’t want to pay more on gas than I have to with a 90 mile round trip commute, but I can certainly open it up.
  12. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

So you’re telling me on my 45 mile commute tomorrow to put in sport mode and HAVE FUN?
  13. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

No of course. More what I was saying was, it wasn’t something self induced. I’ll check under the hood for lose/broken as I’m a tradesman so am semi-competent but not a car mechanic and certainly not trying to troubleshoot/repair
  14. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

It’s bone stock minus a tonneau cover and driven like a grandpa. No way should there be problems
  15. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Very strange. I’ve not done anything at all to it. No rough driving. No mods. Hopefully this is warranty covered.
  16. CEL: The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system.

Cool cool. I’ve got 15k miles but mostly highway. I’d assume this will be warranty.
