I like this local car wash that the attendant drives your car in. They vacum the car then drive it on the track with no one on it. Is this possible for the Mav? Considering the steps needed to run it through a car wash.

Turn auto brake hold off. I can't think of any other issues.

So as long as you don’t have the auto brake on just put in neutral like a normal vehicle. I have never had any problems with my ecoboost in the last year and over 30+ car washes.

GOD washes my car for Free at random times. He leaves the vacuuming up to me which I do every time I trade in a vehicle.

NEVER wash your Maverick. Washing removes the film of protective bacteria excreted by the advanced Ford paint biologic layer. This forum doesn't seem to understand that Maverick paint is thin precisely because it's protected by that next generation biofilm. Savages!

It takes me a year or two before I get to that point. Just hate when my car has so much salt on it in the winter that animals are licking it.

If they leave the Maverick (EB) running & just put it in neutral it will work, if the Maverick is going to be turned off, there is a procedure for that, turning it off in neutral & getting out it will put itself back into park.

You clearly aren't taking full advantage of what God provides you each hurricane and tornado season....

My Truck came with a year of free truck washes for a year. They are used to almost all cars and said it’s like a bronco to them.

Great yes they leave it running. Thought there must be a way.

Thanks did not know if you left it in neutral while running it would not engage in park when you leave the vehicle.

Sometimes leaving it running it will put itself in park when you get out too. It's easiest if someone stays inside the vehicle when it goes through the wash.

Thanks, seem to have conflicting ideas on this. Sometimes means you can't trust it. I worked a car wash and a few times I seen the cars brake lights come on the roller ran under the car. Another time one jumped the track. That was a mess.

So if the Mav puts itself in park during a car wash, will it then jump the track ? Not willing to test it out for myself however.
