I've only gone 3 times and haven't noticed anything. I was thinking about getting the Cravenspeed Stubby antenna anyway.

I switched to the stubby antenna and went through A car wash 3 times with no issues.

Only been thru a wash once and no issues. Considering how short the antenna is I don't see it being a problem, if it was, EVERY vehicle would have problems going thru a wash.

Weekly car washes and no problem with the antenna. The only carwash problem has been with minor bending the rear license plate. An easy fix was to add a license plate frame.
I have a monthly subscription and have gone nearly a hundred times with no issues. This car wash has the brushes.
I was a little apprehensive about how that antenna would handle a car wash, so I replaced it with the stubby before getting my first wash. I don't drive cross country so I'm not much help on evaluating the stubby's range, but no issues in city/suburbs. I think it might boil down to looks. I thought the longer antenna gave the Maverick a bit of an R/C look.
