I'm seeing a lot of different info here. Some have a priority number (what is that ?) a list of your dealer's orders ( who did you beat up to get that ?) .

My wife and family are making the points that FORD and the Dealer don't care. They don't care to update me on a regular basis. They really aren't answering my questions.

I got the dealer order number in September. only a YEAR after my order was submitted

I have a VIN number.

I fear if I contact a member of the Board of Directors DIRECTLY , the Dealer will SCREW MY OVER the first change they get and sell the truck from under me.

Any suggestions on how I can get better info from SOMEONE ?
While some folks will say calling the Maverick Support phone number or chatting with them via their website results in bad info, I have always had a pretty good experience and fairly accurate answers. I usually use the "chat" feature on Ford.com, but you can also call. 1 (800) 392-3673.

Here is the script I use. You could use this on the phone just as easily as via the chat. You having a VIN makes it a lot easier versus when you were not scheduled yet.

Hello (insert name of phone person or chat person)! Hope you are having a good day so far.

Would like to see if my Maverick build week has moved forward or back and would also like to know if you see an estimated ETA/Delivery Date range? Thank you!

VIN: xxxxx
Order number: xxxxx
Dealer Code:xxxxxx

Simple as that.......

I know it just says trailer hitch but hopefully it is referring
to the 4K towing pkg.
This is just the hitch. W8E is the FWD truck. 4K requires AWD, which is W8F.

Now, that's not saying the 4K isn't also constrained. Just that you cannot tell by this picture.

If it's just the standard 2000lb hitch then a lot of people are going to be passed up ,including me.

There may be other constraints. That might have been the first one to trigger. All of the trucks on that page were FWD, so we don't know (based on that image alone) if the hitch by itself is a constraint or if any package with a hitch is also constrained.

I honestly don't understand how a hitch can be A) constrained and B) such a huge deal to add on to begin with. The entire thing is steel. Are you telling me you ordered to the inch the exact amount you needed that you couldn't make one more six inch long square tube?

The assembly plant does not usually cut and weld heavy gauge steel like a hitch receiver. They are made elsewhere and shipped to the assembly plant. About the only welding they do at an assembly plant is welding up the sheet metal in the unitized body.

No, I get that. But one would think a hitch would be the lowest level fruit for them to grab. It is just a block of steel. Even the 4-pin doesn't require too much more wiring than they are already running for the taillights.

No it's not, needs to cut, welded, drilled, primed, painted etc.

The real question is on those orders that were passed over for scheduling with that being a constraint, was it:
a) A non-Lux with the hitch option
b) A Lux (which includes the same optional hitch)
c) A 4K Tow package vehicle

Still unclear whether the same physical hitch receiver is used for both the 2K tow and the 4K tow capacities. I would assume the 4k hitch receiver is physically beefier, but perhaps the hitch is common and the difference in the 4k vehicle is just suspension, shocks, extra braking capacity, etc.

It will be interesting to hear what @fordvideoguy has to say, given they have ~20 allocations previewing this week, so hopefully he'll have some good data on which specific configuration(s) are getting passed over with the hitch being cited as the issue.

The 2K and 4K receiver are probably the same. A 2" receiver is a class 3 receiver that can go up to 8,000 lbs. https://www.curtmfg.com/types-trailer-hitches

But with only one body code present on the image I referenced, we don't know if Ford is simply holding hitches FOR the 4K and Lux packages and only skipping the single add-ons or if there are no hitches at all regardless of what package it is in.

Have you contacted or chatted with Ford or tried the ordertrack.app? With a vin you should be able to get some info.
Got nothing on the V

I've been calling this number and they're the ones who gave the LOVELY news of my build date is now December and it will be a 2023 with a different shade of blue (too dark). They did confirm I get to hold the 2022 price.....by the way, did anyone see FoMoCo had low financing for Mavericks if we did it by the end of the year ? But I guess this is gone, since I probably won't get it until FEBRUARY !

Believe it when I see it... Even for us Ecoboost orders.
Don't get your hopes up. Getting scheduled is just the beginning of another wait. My 1/6/2022 eco boost XL was finally built Sept 9th, and has been sitting on a train, at the factory ever since. Nationwide train strike on the horizon, so Dec or Jan delivery MIGHT happen.

We no longer have any orders previewing this morning , who knows if they're still scheduling this week because at this point it doesn't look promising, given our 5 previews went away back into the non scheduled list.

Well since they have about a three month backlog of 22 orders that makes sense. Just getting an idea on what parts to order?

Given they were only looking at a handful of orders for what was supposed to be several weeks of builds, I'm not surprised.
