    No, I just changed the wiring harness, and the remote comtrol/Ford key worked perfectly. Just unlock the doors 2x and the tailgate unlocks. To lock the tailgate, lock the doors with the remote.

    Use the XLT wiring harness and tailgate lock, so the tailgate locks with your key/remote

    It will show it is still in Mexico, UNTIL it arrives at a train depot near your dealership. . You should hear back from Ford about Dec 28, then it will take about 10 days to get to the dealer. Good luck

    Don't get your hopes up. Getting scheduled is just the beginning of another wait. My 1/6/2022 eco boost XL was finally built Sept 9th, and has been sitting on a train, at the factory ever since. Nationwide train strike on the horizon, so Dec or Jan delivery MIGHT happen.
