If you put in mutiple orders with different dealers won’t that affect your private offer from Ford?
Only when you try to exercise it. You'd only be able to use it once - it's tied to the name & address on the original order.

So do dealers know when they hit the allocation limit and have to stop taking orders?

Leave it to ford to send out estimate allocation numbers last night after dealers take hundreds of orders already.

Other dealerships are posting this same type of message on Facebook groups currently...Whole model year allocations. @fordvideoguy any news on what Ford is sending to dealers about allocations?

Should. Doesn't mean they do.

Yeah was about to say the same thing. I saw someone post they were getting 8 out of 40 total orders. That's a small number of orders compared to dealers like LM and Mullinax. Hopefully @fordvideoguy has a lot to talk about tonight.

No way @fordvideoguy dealership is going to get 650 allocations. Them pushing these orders beyond their allocation likely just cost a lot of people a chance at getting a Maverick.

I don't know if anything has changed since Sunday but Tim told me then that LM has 63 allocations for just the first month of 2023 production. If that remained consistent they would have enough allocations for all the orders they have by the end of 2023 production. Whether Ford could build them all is another thing entirely.

So I starting thinking with all the supply constraints that Ford may not be wanting to take custom orders right now. Maybe they are going to just produce whatever they have parts for and dole them out to the dealers as retail orders how they see fit. This would be max efficiency for the plant and they would still probably sell everyone they made as fast as they were built. Wouldnt make customers too happy but they are holding the cards right now.

This definitely shows that Ford should've done the Bronco way and only opened up 23 Maverick orders to roll-overs and maybe open them again the beginning of the year for new orders if they all got scheduled.

My dealer, but the order in did the ROVP and I have the confirmation email. If between part constraint and dealer allocation it doesn't get built there is little I can do about it. I am not about to start going around putting in multiple orders. It is what it is PERIOD!
I agree with you and I don't even think putting in another order with another dealer, at this point, would increase your chances at all.
