This should be fun, Ford is going to actually need to release order guides and open the order banks in order to have something to schedule on 9/29.

So does this mean all MY22’s are now scheduled and those without a VIN will be MY23?
If you take the chart at face value, yes. But we have seen cases where Ford Corporate says one thing but does something else. Case in point, the 12+ orders that FordVideoGuy saw scheduled last week when there was a claim they were already totally done scheduling for the year. Also some situations where it was claimed no more hybrid or lux would be chosen, yet some folks with those got scheduled.

So what is the current guess when new orders ( not rollovers) can be ordered for 2023 models—September 15, September 30, or other?Called a dealer here in New Jersey the other day and he told me October 22 which I assume is WRONG. Tens of thousands of orders will be placed ahead of buyers if that dealer keeps telling potential buyers that far out.

So my salesman, cannot give me a firm YES or NO on re-ordering a MY23 maverick for the 15th. I just sent him that image and I hope the online order guides are ready cause this could be another nail in the coffin for my next vehicle purchase if this second year order launch goes horribly wrong.

Yeah, based on a post here last week, all of us with unscheduled orders should be receiving calls from dealers throughout today with instructions on how to proceed to get our MY23 orders in the system on September 15.

So far, though, there's been nary a peep from my dealer.

Ford is more inconsistent than a McDonald's managed by a 18-year-old high school dropout.

UPDATE: I just spoke with my salesman and verified that Ford has told them jack squat about whether or not MY22 orders can be rolled over to MY23 orders as was reported on this forum as recently as last week.

9/15 -- Find a dealer who is ready to place your order that day and be ready yourself.

As you note, Ford could always push it back. But if they don't, you will be behind tens of thousands of others if you delay...

Just called Ford marketing about mine. Was told that it was unscheduled and that they were doing no more scheduling for the 2022 model year. I should expect to get something from Ford between today and the 15th with next steps for rolling over to a 2023.

I am sure they could build any version they have parts for and dealers would be more than happy to put them on their lots. The same goes if they have any left over capacity the last week of 2022 production.

Yup. Can't wait to see my exact build minus one or two non-constraint differences sitting on a dealer lot with a $10k markup. Or maybe they'll sneak in another December or January order.

But yet they couldn't build my truck...
