I'm expecting ordering for MY23 Mavericks to end up only being available on Sep 31st. No orders before or after that date.

So if it’s the 15th of next month you won’t see your truck until 23 then. No way it gets done by December .
So we will have a my 22 in 2023

I would much rather they push it back six weeks. This gives us final clarity on if you will get scheduled on MY22. Also allows for clarity to dealerships and customers....and dare I say if done correctly they could allow a window for rollover orders to be done prior to new orders.

It's easy to see all the negative, I feel it too, but waiting another six weeks after all this for some clarity and organization is worth it. In my opinion, which was worth the price you paid, free LOL!
While the sudden "no wait not Aug 2nd we meant September 15th" is seemingly just one more instance of Ford fumbling around, I have to reluctantly agree with you that this could offer much more clarity in the long run, and that would indeed be a good thing for all of us.

But one wonders if this means the order guides still won't be available until the day of the order bank opening. Hope they prove me wrong! :ROFLMAO:

I really want a Maverick, and I really need a vehicle - but with Ford being so incompetent, I might have to look for something else at this point. How they can move the date up and up, then suddenly go "oh, you know what, let's go ahead and move it back a month instead".
[sarcasm]
I'm sure that GM and all the other auto manufacturers are flush with customer ordered vehicles with all options available, and are therefore a display of competence, in contrast to Ford... right?

Im starting to feel the same way. Just get another vehicle and then sell the ford when it comes in. It’s such a mess I don’t even know where to start.

Im not dealing with other auto manufactures at the moment. I am dealing with Ford. And Ford's ability to be logical, organized, and communicative is disappointing. It isn't a race to the bottom.

I never said that you were. You're calling out a manufacturer who is dealing with the same problems that every other manufacturer is.

I'm thinking Ford realized trying to do this August 2nd combine with all the rollovers they had to process was going to be a cluster you-know-what.

I think we all know new non-rollover 2023 orders are not going to be selected for scheduling anytime soon. So this doesn't really change anything for new orders but it will make a lot of sense for handling the existing 2022 rollover orders.

I assume an updated Fleet bulletin will be out on Friday, but everything I see except this post still confirms Aug. 2nd. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Ford is dealing with problems that are completely under their control.

They are over promising and under delivering.

In all honesty, does it matter if we order next week or next month?

If production isnt going to start until October and we're all in the same boat having to wait before we order, it's not like them changing the date we can order will change the actual production date.

So I watched Tims video. Not sure if I missed it. But will the 2023 pricing and options/color choices be announced/put online before September? It would be nice to know this ahead of time.
