So I just got off the phone with Ford. They said the date was moved today from August 2nd to September 15 to rollover 22 to 23 orders. He also said Fords Maverick website won't be updated to 2023 info until October. Ford dealers will find out what's has changed in packages, options, ect. on September 15th as well.

I saw a lady mention that on the Facebook page.

Hopefully @fordvideoguy came chime in if he heard anything today. It would be nice is Ford had their stories straight between departments.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Nothing at all. Including this.

So what does this mean to the 2.9% incentives? It was supposed to end around September 5?

What a Charlie Foxtrot.

I really want a Maverick, and I really need a vehicle - but with Ford being so incompetent, I might have to look for something else at this point. How they can move the date up and up, then suddenly go "oh, you know what, let's go ahead and move it back a month instead".

If Ford was smart they'd put Tim in charge of all ordering for Mavericks. He has way more foresight, organizational, and PLANNING skills than whoever keeps changing the order dates for the '23 Maverick.

Ford hasn't moved the MY changeover date. So it's not like you're going to be getting your build any later because of this change.
That may be true, but what about the 2.9% Incentive program that started on July 28 - September 5? Looks like we are losing that as the order banks do not open until after the cutoff date. Maybe Ford will extend that for the Maverick buyers but who is going to hold their breath for that?

Interest rates went up yesterday and are expected to go up again in September.
