I don't think so. After reading several posts, seems the "scheduled to be built week" is not the build date. At this point don't know what my scheduled week is. Could have been moved several times by now.

Well I'm confused. Looking at the chart it says scheduled for production week 6/13 is for scheduled for build week 8/1. So to me that says if you are scheduled for production for 6/13 then it is not going to be built until the week of 8/1, or am I wrong? I give up trying to figure it out. Guess it comes when it comes or when I decide not to wait any longer. Whichever comes first.
Scheduled for build week 8/1 is the next time unscheduled orders may be selected. If you already are scheduled it does not apply to you.

I got an email from my dealer (I'm one of those people that has never gotten a single email from Ford) back in April saying my Maverick was scheduled for a production date of 6/6. But isn't a scheduled for production date different from a scheduled to be built date? That's what is confusing people like me I think.
Also I had called Ford customer service line a couple of weeks prior of receiving an email from my dealer. They told me when it was scheduled for production, that they (Ford) would send me an email with a VIN. Nope. Received NADA.
Think of it this way. There is what they are building now, and then planning what to build in the future. They plan for the future, so they know what parts & pieces they need for that future.

So this week, they are planning for the future of 8/1. So this week they will pick which trucks they will build in the future. So during this week of 6/13 they are planning (i.e. scheduling) for the future.

This as no impact on trucks being built this week. The trucks being built this week, got planned in the past (e.g. April). Sounds like you (just like me) we’re scheduled back in April to be built in May or June (June was the future, back in April). So for us, April was when we were scheduled, June is when we are built.

Aside for scheduling, commodity shortages end up pushing out builds. Basically, their plan for the future did not work out, because suppliers didn’t deliver the parts they said they would. This is when you see a previously scheduled build week and/or day get pushed out (see my signature for how mine went). For example, I got a build week in May and slowly pushed out to last week. These changes have nothing to do with scheduling. However, they impact scheduling, because the already scheduled builds have to occur before they plan for any additional builds.

VIN is typically assigned when you are scheduled; usually a couple days before. The window sticker comes when your order is sent to the factory; which is around the Friday before your build week.
So you get a VIN, then are happy that you have a build week.
Then you get sad again as your build week pushes out and you wait for the window sticker. You get the window sticker, at which point you are happy again because you know your turn is soooooo close (are “in production”). Then you get sad again because you can sit “In production” for a long time; as it gets assigned the actual place in line, then goes down the assembly line, then offsite for things like bedliner, then maybe sit waiting for a part or two, then waits to be put on rail car or convey.

For me, I went into production on 5/31, but appears it still hasn’t gone down the assembly line. I saw a post where someone said a ”source in the plant” said the line was shutdown last week due to parts shortage. Nothing officially confirmed, but since my modules are not activated yet it seems like it might be true 🙁

Hope that helps.

With all us folks from the last 3 weeks of June getting pushed to August 1st I don't see how the hell they plan on making all of them and schedule more.

The unscheduled shut down for last week (6/6) was confirmed at Blue Oval forums. So, I'm guessing we are seeing the domino effect of that lost production week in the rescheduling now 🙁

Remove the tonneau cover, definitely hurting your chances and it's something you can get after the truck arrives.
I ordered the XL hybrid from Bill Pierre Ford on November 8, 2021 and received an email from Ford that same day. I have the trifold tonneau cover and called the dealer today (6/13/22) to remove it. The dealer said their Ford rep recommended not changing anything on any orders that have been placed because it move your spot in the queue.

Great/ So I was told I was scheduled 6/6. But from what some said, that was probably pushed to 6/13. So scheduled 6/13 to be built August 1st (at the earliest). Add to the fact that I have the XLT luxury package, so good chance it gets delayed at least once. Then add at least 3 weeks for transport ..... so maybe September, who knows. But as far as I know, October is when the last 2022 will be built, correct? So then what happens? All unbuilt 2022 go to the front of the 2023 line? Sheesh.
Front of the line I doubt, Chip and supply issues will not change in October. There will certainly be a shit ton of new base xl orders that will be built before 22s.

I was told the same thing from my dealer.
My plan is to also order a 2023. If the 2023 ends up being scheduled a couple of months after the delivery of the 2022 then I will wait.

I would check with your dealer and have them verify that when they entered the order, your email was used as the email contact and not theirs. If your email was entered (correctly) you should have received a confirmation from Ford thanking you for your order after it was placed.
I've talked to Ford customer service on the phone twice since November "21. They told me they had my order# and email address. Some months ago I got an email from Ford asking me to confirm my email address. I thought, Great! Finally I will get the tracking emails. Nope. Never got anything. Just checked my Ford account online and it says no reservations on order. Not concerned about that, others have said theirs doesn't show up either. Just don't understand why some have gotten emails from Ford for every stage of the process, from order confirmation to delivery while others haven't gotten a single email, not even so much as an order confirmation.
Then again, the fact that some people that ordered in June or July of 2021 haven't gotten thier trucks yet while some that ordered in Jan 2022 have gotten thiers built and delivered shows how messed up the whole system is. Is what it is I guess.

It’s a cluster🤬, but I can confirm that the order won’t show on the tracker or your profile until you are scheduled and have a VIN.
Their tracker always seemed one step behind and useless.
