My 2023 got taken in around 2k miles because instrument panel went out.
Since then got 3 recall notices.
Got my 1 yr inspect done last week... and had them take care of those recalls.
The day I got the truck back got another recall notice for the instrument blackout issue...
And then got...
1600 miles in... was getting 40-43 mpg until it warmed up here last week. Now getting 43-45mpg... overall avg 43mpg.
You must just slam on the brakes to stop to get sub 40 in the hybrid.
I get over 40 when 100% highway driving.
Found another thread from a few weeks ago; same issue @ almost same mileage, also '23 hybrid. Another user posted that updating the instrument cluster module fixed it... So I texted my dealer to see if they can get this resolved quickly.
edit: They just responded and said they already did the...
Out during my lunch yesterday. Parked the truck for about an hour. Started it up and the console (dials/odometer etc; not the touchscreen) is black. Truck worked fine, but no console. Only the little green "Ready" is lit up... nothing else. Dropped it off at dealer and still waiting to see what...
Honestly, no. I'd be fine with rollers. Only reason I went XLT vs XL was for heated seats cause you can't get Lux on XL. Literally the only feature I cared enough about to pay for. It just made me think something was broken. Can't fathom the deliberate decision to make automatically rolling DOWN...
I know but literally... what's the cost difference in the circuit to roll up and down vs just down? A few cents? If anything? I wouldn't really care if it didn't do either... but the fact that it does ONE and not the other... it's just like... Really? Seems like the most ludicrous penny pinching...
I'm amazed at some of the places they cut costs... my windows roll themselves down but not up... have to sit on the button to roll up... like really... HOW MUCH could you save on that?
Cant imagine the truck tries to steer to avoid a crash... can you IMAGINE the liability if it drives you off a cliff trying to avoid a stopped car. No chance. But I could see the transmission slamming into first to add more engine braking to get more stopping power.
Remember when they used to actually fail people on driving tests? They clearly dont anymore. 50% of drivers I see have no clue about basic driving rules. I see people on highways at night using the passing lane as a breakdown lane. U turns in emergency passthrough. turns from center lanes onto...
Drove a kei truck while waiting... if you want a conversation starter get one of those. No joke 50-75% of people who see it want to ask you questions about it. In one year of occasional driving, must have had 50 people ask about it. So far maybe 3 or 4 people mentioned the Maverick to me. Had...
Went to a credit union and they offered me 5.74 for four year (bank was 5.8 for three year). Ford dealer happened to use the same credit union I went to; so they found out that I had gotten a quote from them when they tried to have them run my credit... so they mentioned that to me at purchase...
About a year ago I almost gave up and started looking at the Santa Cruz as well as trying to find EcoBoost on Lots. But fortunately for me I guess this was the peak of the shortage and everything around here was 6,000 or more ADM. I said no way and kept waiting and I'm glad I did because while...
MSRP at time of Order or when I got it?
