⏱ Maverick Scheduling Next Week (6/13) For Production Build Week 8/1

Before Ford changed the notification process to "build-day", people used to wait for Thursdays and dream of receiving the email from Ford that they had a build week.

Can someone detail what happens nowadays? I know from Ford chat that I supposedly have a Aug 1 build week. However, I am not expecting to hear anything this Thursday, and will not hear anything until Ford assigns me a "build-day" - and that may not happen until later in July (a few weeks before Aug 1).

So, I am thinking on some random day (is it still only on Thursdays) in late July, I might see the Ford email arrive.
Is that pretty much how it goes down since they changed things?

Got my first build week from chat about a month out. And second, delayed build week from chat. Then my third delayed build week via Tuesday email about 10 days out. Then my fourth delayed build week via Wednesday email about 2 weeks out. At this point who knows what will happen next.

I never once got an email. Havent decided if this may have been a blessing or not!

Thanks to everyone who provided insite into the current notification process. It appears Ford emails can arrive on any given day later in the week, and not necessarily on Thursdays.

One thing I did not mention in my post was that I had reached out to my dealer for my current place in line and they replied back that I should have received an email from Ford with my Vin and a build week of Jul 4. (I have not received anything from Ford except my original confirmation.)

I asked them to check their system to see what it showed as of that day. After checking, they apologized and confirmed my suspicion that my order was delayed to 8/1. My advice to those checking status with their dealer is to have them check the Ford system for the most recent updates and not rely on old information.

Spoke to to my sales guy today and told him he could have my 2022 Maverick I have on order and I will order a 2023 in August….if they take $3K off the sticker for the 2023

Just chatted with Ford and now my build week is July 25. Lol. Just going to forget about it and maybe it'll get built at some point.

No what I mean is they sell my truck at whatever markup they want if they agree to take $3K off my new 2023 order
The orders from my dealer are 11-12 months before they go into production. So my 11-1-22 order should be here in 2023

Does that mean that if your build wasn’t scheduled yet that 8/1 is now earliest

Dec 21' order confirmed. Basic XLT FWD with sunroof the excitement of getting a maverick has turned to frustration. I feel bad for those that ordered before me and still haven't got theirs.

Yes, everything up to 8/1 is already scheduled.
