The best information we have to date is that Ford is not going to duplicate your '23 order. If you don't reorder you won't get one.

The Ford website is only currently showing the 2022 model year as what was available before the orders were closed. I wouldn't read too much into what will be available for 2023. Possibly less colors. Maybe new ones.

It's common knowledge that any accessory for the Maverick can become a constraint item and hold your build. If it can be added by the dealer of aftermarket it's better to order without.
Nw_adventure did not indicate if it was a Ford Accessory or aftermarket. I should have asked before responding. If it is a Ford Accessory for a Maverick he would not have to remove it.
I would take the strut off. In general dealers love to do warranty repairs but this cable length seems to be controversial issue. A lot of finger pointing. No need to give the dealer a reason to blame you.
