I had my truck in to the dealer this week for that harness swap out. They had it for about a day and a half. No issues since they finished it up. Also, this dealer loves giving me loaner vehicles worth a lot more than the Mavvy. This is what they have me for the day. (2022 F-150 STX) 😂

Maybe he's trying to get you to trade up! 🤔 😆

I was getting those deep sleep messages back in january. ended up getting one of those solar trickle chargers and no issues since (other then I dont have auto start stop... meh) QUOTE]

How did a solar charger kill auto stop, start?

Also, aren't we talking about the hybrid?

You probably need a bigger solar panel, the one you have is just barely catching up.
But you really need the Ford fix. (y)

Have you got any FordPass notifications or has your door chime played through your steering column instead of the car speakers?
My chime does this occasionally, what does it mean?

My chime plays through the column speaker if I keav emy key in the ignition for even a few minutes. Starts every time and have never had a Ford pass notification.

This and the catalytic converter issues, I’m leaning towards looking elsewhere which bums me out , really wanted this truck , but like all of us we want to get in our trucks and know they are reliable.
I had the cat problem, and now I got the dead truck problem. Unbelievable. Junk!

My wife's daily driver 2020 Escape Hybrid (same powertrain as the Mavericks) started having the dead in the morning issue as well a couple times and going into deep sleep mode more than usual. It goes into the dealer next week. Think its just the half sized tiny 12v battery thats going bad, in the Escape its in the cargo area under the spare tire in the back. I haven't used a volt meter on it yet to check but it has been doing some weird things lately, typical of low voltage in a car full of modules. Ive read it can be replaced with a group 48 car battery thats larger and fits fine but I'm not spending money on a warranty job. I put my NOCO jump pack in the car and showed her how to use it in case it acts up again before it goes to dealer. Those are just a good thing to keep in a car anyway since they're so compact and useful. Kinda worth the money and I make a reminder to top off the charge every few months. There's a handy positive and negative post up front under the hood to jump it from on the escape, probably the same on the Maverick but not sure since I don't have my order yet scheduled to be built.

I just got the "remote features disabled to preserve battery" message today after only two weeks of ownership, guess I should prepare for a new vehicle not able to start shortly

I don't think it's an issue with the battery itself, although if you leave the car parked for more than 2 weeks it may need to be jump started/charged where a typical battery will start a car even after a month or 2 or 3 of being parked. The Maverick battery just doesn't like it when the car is parked for a long time.

As long as you drive it regularly, this should not happen. Don't try to put a band aid on it by keeping a trickle charger plugged in. It's an issue that Ford should be aware of by now and mine was fixed supposedly with a software update. Take it to the dealer and explain. The service department should have a TSB (technical service bulletin) about this issue by now.

Other members have reported a faulty solder connection in their wiring harness.

It was a faulty wiring harness on the 12v side of the system. Here is a sceencap of my original post explaining a little more detail.

Wow! You may be the Master Ford Tech! Maybe they will pay you for documenting this - they should! My Service Dept has been working on it for a week. If they have not figured it out by Tuesday, maybe I will need to check this out myself at the dealership. Thanks.

I feel like I just saw a small Escape hybrid recall recently for this same thing. They called it something like insufficient weld pentetration on the Solder joint. I feel like it might be coming for the Mav.

That was for something like literally 3-6 specific Escape/Corsair Hybrids in the US and a few more in Europe identified for having potentially bad welds internal to the HV battery.
