I have read through this entire thread today, and I too want to commend you for your patience. I think I would have been ready to have Ford simply give me back my money and go buy another Honda Fit or something. Already wishing we hadn't sold ours one week before our Maverick was due to arrive and days before we learned it's actually on chip hold for three months. I hope so much that the Maverick will be as good as our Ranger was. But now I'm having doubts.

It is good that Ford is trying to make it right for you. Thank you for keeping us updated. I like the crowd-sourcing aspect of MTC. And you're helping solve this for anyone else who has the same issue.

Can you say something more about your build. Hybrid XLT. Any packages such as LUX or 360 Copilot? Thanks!
DiveBombDom has this issue as well and has been keeping us updated but it appears that they fixed his wiring harness for now. My problem is still unknown and it is going on 2 weeks that my Mav has been at the dealer with no updates. We have had similar symptoms with our trucks.

I have no idea if the techs at my dealership are actively diagnosing the car and trying to figure out the issue or if it’s just sitting at the dealer until a more experienced mechanic is able to come and inspect it. My service advisor that has been keeping me updated has been on vacation for the last week and I haven’t bothered calling and asking someone else for updates but if I don’t hear anything by the end of the day on Monday, I will call Tuesday and ask.

Car dealerships are usually slammed with business during Presidents Day sales. Not sure what it's like in this strange year, though. I hope you hear soon. It has to be hard to wait and wait.

Let us know what you hear.

I'll do you one better and attach a screenshot of the window sticker. I didn't order this truck. I wrecked my 2013 Escape in December so I was forced to look for a vehicle. When I decided I wanted a maverick, I spent time hounding about 30 dealers in 5 states for a couple weeks. One in my area (Pittsburgh) had this one come up as a canceled order, so I was lucky enough to scoop it up.

Another little update, my Mav has now been at the dealer for over 2 weeks. My service advisor said there has been no progress made on finding the cause of the issue so far. No response or contact from Ford corporate either despite the official Ford account on here contacting me twice asking for info about my problem (no follow up after I responded.)

This and the catalytic converter issues, I’m leaning towards looking elsewhere which bums me out , really wanted this truck , but like all of us we want to get in our trucks and know they are reliable.

Since you're operating on anecdotal evidence, I've had my truck for almost a month now and no issues. So therefore it's good.

Want to provide the whole sticker and not blank out the bottom? Could be a ton of other stickers posted online. Not impugning your integrity, but there are a ton of trolls just trying to manipulate opinions.....

So far so good! As long as there aren't any more unforseen issues, I truly love this truck. It checks all the boxes in a vehicle for me. Also, since some one asked about it, here is the whole window sticker and a picture of the truck I took at work the other day.

Thanks! Looking awesome!

One thing interesting is that the top of your window sticker is blue, while the top of mine is green. Was yours always blue? I've never noticed that before.

Anyone know what the window sticker colour signifies?

Maybe blue could fade to be 'greenish' if the truck is sitting in the sun. The ink used is probably similar to inkjet and that fades relatively quick if left exposed to UV.

It couldn't hurt to wait until the 2023 Model year gets announced (if they even decide to go ahead and launch it after all the issues) but be warned, now that everybody knows how hard a Mav is to get, it will probably be like a Walmart on black friday, people camped out at their Ford Dealer for 2 days to put in an order for the 2023 model. Or if it's online, they will get thousands of emails at 12:01am the day they are launched.

And that's assuming Carvana/Vroom/Other Vehicle scalping companies don't buy a bunch of them in bulk.

Have you reached out to DiveBombDom's dealership to see if the techs there could share some insight as to what they did and plan to do with your dealership's techs? Knowledge sharing, if the same issue, would likely expedite completion of your truck.

No. This is solid blue and solid green ~ not the sort of green to which blue might fade, if blue could fade to green. Just one more mystery of the process. LOL.

I thought the high voltage wires were covered in orange encasing? The black wires would be the 12v system right?

It looks like one of the 12V connections to the high voltage system. Not a high voltage cable itself. Probably for the 12V charging system.
