Deep sleep fixed…at what cost?

Removed the Ford pass app from phone 3 weeks ago. No loss of lights, etc since. Nice to not get the deep sleep notices. But… I miss the connection to lock the truck from inside when I forget, the ability to remote start in cold weather, and quick checks of tire pressure. Tempted to try with the app again. Any body have suggestions about alternate settings that would make a difference with the Ford Pass app?

Does removing the app get the truck to stop looking for the phone? It would seem to me that disableing it in the truck would be the way to go.

They changed some things with the app that broke some 3rd party stuff, I think it had to do with sending request too frequently to the truck. I lost the Widget in iOS but still have the siri commands. I would give it a try if you have a battery tender just in case. ( I have a late 22 hybrid delivered in the fall, never had deep sleep and have used the app since it arrived)
