I've had heated seats for a while and love them, but just last year I discovered we had a heated wheel on the wife's Escape. Wow! I imagine it sounds frivolous if you don't suffer winter driving, but it is a game changer. Wish I'd had one back in my commuting days.
Yes. I totally wish I had one this past winter of many days below 0 degrees (Kansas). My hands were so cold I could barely touch the wheel until the heat really kicked in! Back in the south, I don’t think I’ll need it but I’ll be happy to have it since my hands stay cold in the winter.

I'll be adding mine once I talk to my dealer tomorrow! Right now submitted reservation build for a Lariat Lux with Co-Pilot and FX4 with Moon Roof in Cactus Gray, going to follow up with my local dealer tomorrow to convert to order.

Power tailgate lock is standard on all XLT trimmed trucks, not a part of the lux package. Also if you have a best buy nearby, they have sales every couple months where you can get a 2 WAY compustar remote starter with a mile range for under $300 installed. So I figure for most people, including me the lux package is mostly about the heated stuff. I personally chose to skip it, and I'm from Chicago. My maverick will spend it's nights on the street and the factory ford remote start fob will have a hard time reaching it. And not knowing if it started successfully by getting a 2way remote is a deal breaker for me. Remote start is also available through the my Ford pass app, which theoretically has unlimited range, but a monthly fee. Although my Ford salesman said it's free for first 2 years. I guess I will try that before I go to bb.
Ford pass is free. So all Mavericks have remote start. That’s why I went with the XL. Only thing I will be missing is power mirrors (once set it doesn’t matter) and cruise control(haven’t used it on my current suv in a few years). I can deal with that!

OK. Lets crunch the numbers. Ford stated that less than 40% built will be Hybrids. Lets say these numbers are correct across ford with high 10% margin error. This puts the Hybrid in higher demand than the 2.0, something I do not think Ford anticipated. The looks of this says that Maverick buyers want an economical truck, about the midrange model with a few added bells and whistles that gets good MPG and CAN tow a little load in a pinch. Thank you for this.....
I'd be curious by state to know what the stats are Hybrid - 2.0 I know my dealer said most are 2.0 . where I am in Pa. Looks like the 3 highest states with orders are warmer climates so they are probably mostly hybrids ???

I went hybrid but ford has announced that California has the most orders. I can imagine hybrids are the rage there

Well my order is consistently in the 9-12% bracket! LOL!! ordered the Rapid Red, 1st Edition, AWD 2.0 L EcoBoost w the 4K towing package... which includes the Lariat XLT Lux package as well... small matter of concern - my dealer has not responded to my request(s) for confirmation of the DORA I signed... and thus I have not yet received a confirm from Ford!?!? Any suggestions on a way to motivate the Dealership?

Show up at the dealership in person. Be nice but firm when telling them you want better service.

If you had the Dora that is ford confirmation of the order if your lacking the email from ford though likely your dealer didn't enter your email on the order. They should be able to add it but I think it only will help with future emails from ford on it.

I have a "Preview Order M036-W8F dated 08/11/2021 @ 13:27:27... that only indicates Customer name and no reference to my email address... I suppose it behooves me to get the actual DORA.. still trying.

I am honestly surprised more luxury packages weren't ordered with the overall affordability of this truck.
The XLT luxury package is pretty useless if you live in the south and do not need all those heated things.

The only things in the list that interests me is the Full Size Spare Tire and the Spray-in Bedliner.

When ordering Ford Co-Pilot360 you get the Full Size Spare Tire and the Spray-in Bedliner can be purchased separately.

I'm surprised at how many ordered 360. I didn't. I've ordered XLT, for cruise control. Can anyone explain why the 360 was so popular?
#1 reason is S A F T Y

And for me it is BLIS:

BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) can alert you to a vehicle detected alongside and difficult to see in a blind spot. The system uses radar sensors on both sides near the rear of the vehicle. When a vehicle is detected in your blind spot, you are alerted with an indicator light in the sideview mirror. The Cross-Traffic Alert feature also uses this radar to help detect traffic behind your vehicle when you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. When it detects a vehicle approaching from either side, it flashes an indicator light in the sideview mirrors (same as BLIS) and emits an audible warning. Also, a visual display in the message center indicates from which direction the vehicle is coming.

https://www.ford.com/technology/driver-assist-technology/blis-cross-traffic-alert

My current car is a 2015 Honda Fit which has a right side camera that show traffic (blind spot) on that side with markers for distance. I wanted something similar and this added more in that it checks both sides.

Also note that the Full Size Spare Tire comes with the 360 package so that drops the actual cost of the 360 down by $115 because I had already decided to get the Full Size Spare Tire.
