I have a rattle in my driver's side A pillar. Can't tell exactly where, but very annoying when the radio is off. Was going to remove the trim and see if I noticed anything probably tomorrow when I wire my dash cam on the other side.
Yep let us know! The saga/search continues!! It’s so perplexing! I think I figure it out and ??? I wish o was able to make my own strut tower brace…. I oddly think it’s structural flexing against windshield.

I had a small rattle in my dash during the first 500 miles. I gave a few "love" taps to the top of the dash and it hasn't returned since! I'll hit 4500 miles this week.

I've had creak/rattle noise from passenger front dash since I got my maverick in Jan. Finally got around to troubleshoot. I did the followingand it appears to reduce, if not eliminate the noise significantly.

- remove glove box completely. Pretty easy just two side latches and squeeze and push out damper then remove box completely.
- there are two air ducts behind the glove box. If you wiggle the rear duct there is some tapping noise. I stuff a piece of foam to immobilize it.
- the cabin filter door is a source of creak if you try wiggling that door. There's no gasket between the door and box so the plastic to plastic rubbing creaks and the plastic latch also rubs and creaks. I lubed it with some grease and it improved.

Hope this helps.

Good stuff!! Thanks for the update! Man… small little shortcuts add up lol. I also noticed the right side of the copilot 360 window mount flexes and moves a bit and seems to have a bit of noise maybe??? Driver side is firm, tight, and quiet… so it could be a culmination of sounds creating this orchestra piece!

I had a survey emailed to me from Ford on the Maverick purchase and experience so far. Most of my answers on any issues experienced included a well known issue with rattles in the dash…

Good… the more squeaky the wheel the more grease and care it gets!

I swear mine is coming from the windshield itself. Mine ticks unless it’s been parked in the sun and the outside temp is around 60. Then it may only do it once in a great while and it’s not as noticeable. I noticed my windshield looks like two pieces of laminate glass laminated together. I wonder if there is a defect in that and the two pieces have clearance between them so they flex and make noise. When the windshield is hot the laminate is playable and warm it quiets it.

Great observation! I’m with you it’s windshield related…

Heck the glove box lock rattles on some and it can throw you off. Sometimes the mic in A pillar. Both sound like a dash rattle.

You can take the diaphragm out of a cheap stethoscope and use as a directional noise finder.
I “hear” that it works pretty good. Pun intended.. Really it does work…

Dropped mine off at the dealer today. No idea how long it'll be gone. Got a free rental from Enterprise.
